Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Robyn & Graeme Lingard (Kumara Junction), Gavin & Merryn (Maraekakaho), Stephen (deceased) & Annette, and best friend of Dwayne. On February 25, 2020, in Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by family, aged 84 years. Dearly loved wife of Doug for 64 years, loved mother of Christine (deceased), Linda, and Sharon, loved mother-in-law of Allan, and Tony, very much loved by her grandchildren Richard and Laura, Megan and James; Justine and Ryan, and Bradley; and her great-grandchildren Cian and Neve; Kiera, and Freddie; Max; and Hayzel. Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at Westport. Surrounded by family, love, music, and stories. In his 89th year. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Maree and Brian Mazure, Alan and the late Michelle, Denise, Suzanne and Ross Duncan, and Karen and Devern Hill, loved Garg to his 14 grandchildren, partners, and 8 great-grandchildren, a friend to Bev and a special person in the lives of Janelle and Paul, Hamish and Ebony, and their families, and a loved brother to Valerie (deceased), Dennis (deceased), and Judy, and their families. The family wish to express their deepest thanks to the Karamea District Nurses and Caregivers, and to all the staff of O’Conor Home for their care and support for Gerald. Shirley was a loved and respected sister-in-law of the Gardener family. Special thanks to the caring staff at Annaliese for their wonderful care of Shirley and her family. On February 21, 2020 suddenly but peacefully at Hutt Hospital ICU, aged 78 years. Wonderful and much loved wife of 55 years of Peter, lovely and much loved mother and mother-in-law of Julie and Penny and Richard, dearest Nana of Sam, Matthew, Emily and David.
