Peacefully at Winsdor Court Rest Home, Ohaupo, on 15th April 2018. Dearly loved husband of Colleen. Father of Patrick, Sheryl, Colleen, Terry, Michael and their families. Stepfather of Anne, Catherine, Jenny and their families. Grandfather and great-grandfather of many. Our thanks to all the staff at Windsor Court for their wonderful care and support. On April 15, 2018, peacefully at Hilda Ross Hospital. Aged 91 years. Loved husband of the late Laurel for 64 years. Respected brother-in-law of Vel and Joy McConnell. On Sunday 15th April 2018, peacefully at Rahiri Rest Home, Dannevirke. Aged 91 years. Beloved wife of Peter for the last 62 years. Loved mother of Rea and Philip; mother-in-law to Andrea and grandmother to Thornton and Elise. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Friends of Epiphany, and these may be left at the service. A celebration service for Dorothy will be held at the Church of Epiphany, Newton Street, Ormondville, on Thursday 19th April, at 11.00am, followed by interment at the Ormondville Cemetery.

MULHOLLAND, John Edward

John died peacefully in Ranfurly Hospital on Monday 16 April 2018, aged 59. Loved and loving husband of Claire (nee McCormick) and treasured brother of Anne (Dunedin), much loved son of the late Eddie and Grace Mulholland of Oturehua. John will be at home from Thursday for those who would like to pay their respects. A Rosary for John will be held at 1286 Auripo Road, Oturehua, on Friday 20 April at 7.00pm. The funeral will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Ranfurly, on Saturday 21 April at 1.00pm, followed by burial at Blackstone Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maniototo Hospital Rebuild would be appreciated and may be left at the church. LAIRD, Arthur Keith (Keith)

RNZAF WW2 NZ436161; RSA Member; New Zealand Post Office; long standing member of the Hutt Golf Club; Archer and Toast Master. On 15th April 2018, one day before turning the age of 93, Keith passed away peacefully at Hutt Hospital to the sound of “Moon River” surrounded by family. Loving husband of Raeburn for 62 years, loved and Cherished Father and Father-in-law of Roanne Kerry, Malcolm and Judy, Ewen and Alan and Jane. Grandfather to Matt, Jaime, Ben, Vincent and Averil. Grandfather-in-law to Paula. Great-grandfather to Samuel and Sophia. Brother to Gladys and the late Paisley, Marion and Jim. Thank you to the skilled, professional and dedicated staff at Hutt Hospital Medical Ward for their care, dedication and support. Appreciation is extended to the management and staff at Shona McFarlane Retirement Village for making him comfortable and a member of their community in the final years.
