Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 13, 2019. Aged 92 years. Survived by Elsa (his loving wife), children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in the Cook Islands, New Zealand, Australia, and Hong Kong.

On October 10, 2019, at Christchurch Hospital, aged 74 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Jo and Pete, Andy and Amber, and Stephen and Cushla. Loved granddad and great-granddad of his 8 grandchildren and his great-grandchild. A funeral service for Paul will be held at the Kaiapoi Baptist Church, 67 Fuller Street, Kaiapoi, on Thursday, October 17 at 1.00pm, to be followed by interment at the Kaiapoi Cemetery.


QUINN, Maureen Catherine

Peacefully at Highfield Lifecare, on Sunday, October 13, 2019, aged 84. Loved daughter of the late John and Mary Quinn, sister of the late John, special friend of Jean and loved by all her extended family. Passed away suddenly with family by her side at Palmerston North Hospital on October 13th, 2019. In her 93rd year. Dearly loved wife of the late Spencer. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Deidre, Neil and Janis, and Julie (Foxton Beach). Loved friend of Terry. Much loved Nana of Brendan and Tash, Joanne, Leith, Nadine, and her 5 great-grandchildren. Special thanks to Tracey and the staff at Palmerston North Hospital ED for their wonderful care of Joyce. Passed away suddenly in Paraparaumu. Dearly loved son of Haydn and Joan Sherley, loved brother of Chris, Greg, Marion and Allan, brother-in-law of Judith and Brenda and uncle to Paul, Nikki, Mark, Natalie, Misha and Molly. Many thanks for the support from Team Medical, first responders, ambulance crew and the Police for their prompt action, hard work, kindness and sensitivity.
