FAHEY, Shaun Alistair

Passed away on August 13, 2018, after a short battle with cancer. Dearly beloved husband of Rahera (Rachel) Turner, and much adored stepfather to Kayla, Kelly, Jared and Liam; loving grandad to Alera. Dearly beloved son of Isobel and John Fahey, and soulmate brother and uncle to Greg, Michelle, Mark, Grant, James, Phil and their respective families. Loved, respected and admired nationally and internationally by the Deaf community for his creative talents, humour and heart. A service will be held on Saturday, August 18 at 1.00pm, at Hamilton Gardens Exhibition Hall, to be followed by a burial at Hamilton Park Cemetery, Newstead, at 3.00pm. Special thanks to the amazing team at Hospice Waikato, and especially to Shirley, Laura and Sandahl.

On August 14, 2018, peacefully at Village Palms, in her 92nd year. Dearly loved wife of the late John. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Gloria and Bob, the late Bruce, Dawn and Geoff, Garry and Linda, Neil and Suzzan, and Tina and Chasse. Loved by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Village Palms for their care and support. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 14 August 2018, at Waipuna Hospice with her family at her side, after a short but brave battle. Cherished wife of Simon, treasured Mum to Rachel and Sheri, and much loved Grandma to Lila and Carter. Dearly loved daughter of Noel and Lois, and sister to Terry, Peter and Noeline.

Youngest sister of Carol* and Hugh Brown; Erice and Neil Hamilton; and Charlie and Margaret Little. A service to celebrate Elaine’s life will be held at the Wanaka Golf Club, 12 Ballantyne Road, Wanaka, on Monday, August 20, at 2.00pm, where she spent many enjoyable hours with her friends.
