Passed away at Southland Hospital, on Sunday, October 13, 2019. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Cheryl (Christchurch), Allison and Steve (Gore), loved Grandma of Frazer, and John, loved daughter of *Bob and *Anna O’Brien, a loved sister of Gregor, Alice, *Chris, *Janice, Roger, and Robyn. A good friend to many.

TAYLOR-BROWN, PleasantNoeline Dorothy(Nonie)

Beloved wife and lifelong friend of Allan Brown. Passed away peacefully enveloped in God’s grace with granddaughter Lisa by her side in Tauranga, 9th October 2019. Much loved mother and teacher of Jayne Long-Taylor (New Plymouth), Philip and Terri Long-Taylor (Pukekohe), and Christopher and Antoinette Long-Taylor (Tauranga). Cherished and adored Nana Noodles of Lisa Long-Taylor, Leonie Mercer, Adam Mercer and Dani Andrew, Teresa and Jason Gunn, Madison Taylor. Great-grandsons Oliver and Riley Linnell. Loved sister and sister-in-law of the late Phyllis and Bill Langley, Madeliene and the late Bill Johnson. Much loved nieces and nephews, Jennifer Whitson, Kevin Langley and Joanne Johnson, Mark Johnson, Tracy Rockhouse and families. Sister in Christ and best friend of Bub Hodgson. A private cremation was held in Tauranga. A service to celebrate Nonie’s life will be held in New Plymouth. Date to be advised.
Nonie has fulfilled her purpose, run the race and now going home in
her Lord’s care.


RHODES, Ivan James

1940 — 2019
Aged 79 years. Passed away peacefully at home on October 12, 2019. Very much loved and cherished husband of Beverley Marquet Rhodes and the late Hilda Rhodes. Loving and caring father and father-in-law of Sheryl and William, and Corena and Bruce; stepfather of Pierre and Jasmine. Much loved and respected Grandad and Poppa to Luke, Annabelle, Sophia, and Alex. Much loved son-in-law; and a loved brother and brother-in-law. A very special and respected uncle to Nigel and family. A private cremation has been held. Friends are invited to a memorial service to celebrate Ivan’s life at Gardens of the World, 95 Clover Road East, Hope, at 2.00pm on Saturday, October 19, 2019. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Westpac Helicopter Trust are gratefully accepted and can be made at the service.


WELLS, David

(Formerly of Kowhitirangi). On Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Hospice Marlborough, peacefully with family at his side. Aged 85 years. Dearly loved husband of 61 years to Marie. Much loved father and father-in-law of Vera and Rodney Goodman, Daphne Hood, and Gordon and Hiroko. Adored by his grandchildren Shanna, Ben, David, Quentin, Roydon, Alicia, Jackson, Jonathon, Akinori, Francisca, Trevor, and Stephanie; also his nine great-grandchildren. Loved brother to Beth and John Simmons (both deceased), Jean and David Stark, Peter and Nane, and Keith and Kathy. Loved brother-in-law of Joyce (deceased), Norman Harvey (deceased), and Fay Bowler. Special thanks to the staff at Greymouth Hospital, Wairau Hospital, and Hospice Marlborough for their personal care provided to David. A celebration of David’s life will be held at the Mayfield Chapel, cnr Hutcheson and Parker Streets, at 1.00pm on Friday, October 18, followed by interment at Upper Wairau Cemetery.


CLEMOES, Jeanette (nee Wall) (Jenny)

On 10 October 2019, passed away peacefully At Rhoda Reid, Morrinsville. Loved daughter of Stewart and Maureen Wall. Much loved mother of Melissa and Paula and mother-in-law of Jason. Adored Step Grandma to Nikia and Makenzie. Treasured Fur Grandma to Scooter, Missy and Rolly.
Our precious mum will be greatly missed.

BURBERY, Edith Ruth (Ruth)

Of Kaiapoi. On October 11, 2019, passed peacefully at Annaliese Haven. Loved wife of the late Hector (Hec). Loved and loving Mum of Paul and Christine, John and Julie, Lynne and Ian Storer, and friend of Leslie. Ruth was a loved grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in- law and auntie of her extended family. A special thanks to the staff at Annaliese Haven for their care and kindness to Ruth. In accordance with Ruth’s wishes a private cremation has taken place and Ruth’s ashes will be placed with Hec, at a later date.


PITMAN, Judith Ann (Judy) (nee Robson)

On Sunday 6th October 2019 (peacefully). Aged 85. Most treasured wife of the late Peter. Mother of her late son Glen, and her daughter Erica (Australia). LAURENCE, Miles Edward

Much loved father to Graeme, and father-in-law to Tanya. Adored Poppa to Jake and Zara.
A quiet, humble and gentle man with a twinkle in his eye, who lived his life exactly how he wanted to.


BISHOP, Janice Maureen

Passed away on 12 October 2019 at Horowhenua Health Centre Levin, aged 82 years. Wife of the late Brian. Mother of Jeremy, Jonathan (dec), and Caroline. In accordance with Janice’s wishes a private cremation has been held.


VINE, Christine Helen

Loved mother and mother-in-law of Rebecca and Richard, much loved grandmother of Ferguson. A loved sister and sister-in-law to Jennifer, Georgina, Pamela and Owen, John and Jane, Louise and Brian, and the late David. O’REILLY, Michael John (Mick)

Much loved and adored husband of Linda. The best dad in the world to Harry, and Sacha. Kindest friend of Jacinda and Louis. Treasured son of the late Harry and Marie. Most fabulous brother and brother-in-law of Sharon and Craig, Mary Ellen and David, Jane and Derek, Michael, Sarah and John. Forever wonderful uncle of Celia and Steve, Lauren and Brendan, Emmeline and Matt, Melissa and Andy, Joelle and Phil, Alicia and Allan, Nikki and Matt, Joseph, Dominic and Mia, Ben and Emma, Raff and Alfie and families. Greatly loved and missed by his many treasured cousins and friends. Michael will be farewelled in Auckland on Wednesday, October 16 at 3.30pm in The North Harbour Chapel of Dil’s Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Rd, Albany. A second service will be held on Saturday, October 19 at 1.30pm at Clyde Rugby Club with his final resting place being Clyde Cemetery. O’REGAN, Anne Emilie(prev Logie, nee Chisholm)

15.12.1938 - 13.10.2019
Died peacefully while at home in her bed surrounded by her treasures, God’s plan B came calling. It has been our pleasure to spend these last few months with our friend, our mum. Much loved mother of Sharon, Paul and Jennie, Nikki and the late Gary. Deeply loved "Grannie Annie" to Andrew and Haley, Benjamin, Ryan, Alexandra, Melissa, Natalie, and Nathan. Great-Grannie to Zebidiah and the late Omega. We wish to thank Dr’s Tony Jackson and Kate Clarke whom mum simply adored. Messages for the O’Regan family may be left in Anne’s tribute book at or posted c/- 4 Moorefield Rd, Johnsonville. Donations, in lieu of flowers, in Anne’s memory, to The Mary Potter Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Died peacefully after a short illness on 13 October 2019, aged 88 and 3/4. Much loved wife of the late Ivor Richardson; mother of Helen, Megan and Sarah; mother-in-law of Alan and Martin; grandmother of Diana, Bridget and Thomas. Passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, aged 62 years. Much loved husband of the late Joy, treasured dad of Heidi, and Sam, and their partners Tyler, and Callum; precious son of Rhonda, and best mate of Gil. IMLACH, Beverley Ann

Peacefully surrounded by family, on 11th October 2019, at Wellington Hospital. Dearly loved wife of Jack (Butch), much loved mother to Angela, George (deceased), Jackie, Joshua, Ingrid and Pauline, loved mother-in-law to Greg and Bruce. A wonderful nana to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loved sister, aunty, cousin and friend to many.
