Passed away on Friday, 19th February 2021, with family by her side at Rangiura Rest home, Putaruru, aged 96 years. Loved wife of the late Norm. Treasured Mum and Mum-In-Law of Trevor (Auckland), Brett and Anna (Tokoroa), Robin (deceased) and Margaret (Tirau). Adored Nana of Sarndra, Kerrie, Aaron, Matthew and Patrick. Great-Nana to 6 and Great-Great-Nana to 1. Cherished sister and sister-in-law of Harry (deceased), Avalon (deceased), Bob and Jan Longden (Otorohanga).

Peacefully in the care of Rowena Jackson Retirement Home on Saturday, 20 February, 2021, aged 85 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Bernice. Loved Dad of Claire and Craig, and Dawn. Loved Grandad of Eloise, Portia, Oriana, and Saffron. A service to celebrate Bill’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Wednesday, 24 February at 11.00am. On the 17th February 2021 in her 95th year. Loved wife of the late Wilfrid. Mother and mother-in-law of Cilla & Bruce, Spence & Jude, the late Andrew, and Philip & Krys. Loved Grandmother of Josh, Shannon & Dylan, Lewis, Hanah & Fraser, and Brendan & Alecia. Great-Grandmother to 15. Mum/Janet was very special to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be sadly missed. A private family service has been held.

Peacefully on February 18, 2021, at Bob Scott Retirement Village. Much loved wife of the late Don. Beloved mother of Mark and Tona, Phil and Kerry, Alyson, Steve and Merran. Devoted Gran of Max, Rachel, Luke, Zac, Eva, Thomas, Kirsty, Scott, and Josh. Special thanks to all the staff and residents of Bob Scott Retirement Village. A private cremation will take place; and a memorial service celebrating Sheila’s life will be held at Harbour City Funeral Home, 665 High Street, Lower Hutt at 1.00pm, on Friday, February 26, 2021.

Peacefully at Nelson Hospital, on Saturday, February 20, 2021, surrounded by his loving family, aged 77 years. Cherished husband and best friend of Shona; much loved father and father-in-law of Robyn McLean and Peter Versey, John and Jolene McLean (Perth); special Grandad of Grace, Beth, Cameron, Emily, Matthew, Scarlett, and Sam; loved brother-in-law of Heather and Trevor Crew (Christchurch), Ian and Karen Davidson (Nelson), Allan and Margaret Davidson (Auckland); much loved nephew of Elva Flintoft (Motueka); loved brother of the late Norma Rothwell, and Ian McLean; brother-in-law of Mary McLean; much loved friend of Jo and Quentin Harwood, Stephen Hawke and Sue Callaghan and Nicky and Robert Wesney.
An active community man, nurse and all round good bloke with a huge heart.

No flowers by request but any donations to Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated, and these can also be made at the service. A celebration of Barrie’s life will be held at Marsden House Funeral Home, 41 Nile Street East, Nelson, on Thursday, February 25, at 2.00pm.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, at Redwood Lifestyle Care & Village, on Thursday, February 18, 2021, in his 89th year. Adored husband of Noeline for 67 years, cherished father and father-in-law of Paul, Lyn (deceased), David, Caryl and Grant, Mary and Dave. Loved Pop of Jeffrey and Connor, Kelly and Gareth, and Chantalle, and four great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff at Redwood Lifestyle Care & Village for their compassionate care. Loved husband of the late Shirley; much loved Dad of Linda, Barry, Geoff, Shelley, Diana and their partners; caring and thoughtful grandfather of Alex, Lawrie, Cole, Rosa, Liam, Sam, Darla, Jess, Abby, and Jaydee; loving great-grandad of all his great-grandchildren. Born in Dumfries, Scotland, on 12 July 1932 ~ died peacefully on 20 February 2021. Much loved husband of Valerie, father of Bob and Paul, adopted father of Zahid and Jess, and grandfather of Emma and Jake.
