On 17 November 2018, aged 84. E te mokopuna o Ng Puhi, te whngai o Kahungunu, kua hoea ki te papatoieke o Hine-nui-te-p, haere atu r, moe mai r. Dearly loved wife of the late William Young Carroll. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Te Atua Manuera (Atu), Daphne Marlene Hoana and Harry Te Whare, Ralph Moeanu (deceased) and Lynn Lackner, Cindy Piki Marie and Clive Paku, Angela Te Wairakau and Tom Paku (deceased) and Rowan Smith, Mereana Joesphine (deceased), William Young Waiomio (Bill) and Judy Reiri, Brent Te Akonga (Kako) and Elaine Smith. Loved Nan, Great-Nan and Great-Great-Nan to all of her mokopuna. Ngaro is lying at Te Ore Ore Marae, Bideford Road Masterton and her service will be at the marae on Wednesday 21 November at 11.00am followed by interment at Ahitainga urupa.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on 16 November 2018, aged 86 years. Cherished wife of Heinz, loved mother of Charlie, Beatrice, Michelle and the late Monique. Adored Grosi of Rachel; Amelie, Olivia and the late Alexander and Great Grosi of Angus and Jack. Loved by extended family in Switzerland. A service for Heidi will be held at the St Aidan’s Presbyterian Church, Overdale St, Putaruru, on Tuesday, 20 November, at 1.30pm, followed by burial at the Domain Road Cemetery. Donations to Putaruru St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

Passed peacefully on Friday, November 16, 2018. Will be loved and remembered by his wife Avis, children Sharon, Russell, James and Penka, Wayne and Anne, Kellie, Craig and Fi, and a cherished Pop by his grandkids. Beloved lifetime friend of Phil, Pam, Mike, Gavin, Duncan, Lindsay, their partners and kids. Brother-in-law to Keith and Jan, Bruce and Shirley, Beryl, Pat, Doug and Evie. Special thanks to the staff of Ward 9, and the incredible team at the Nelson Tasman Hospice. Passed away peacefully at Waikato Hospital after a long illness bravely borne. Much loved son of the late Robert and Claire Fischer, and beloved brother and brother-in-law of Ethel & Stephen Caley and Laurie & Libby Fischer. Treasured Uncle of Leonard and Davina, Joanne and Bryan, Natalie, Dan and Debbie, Richard and Karina; and Nic and Amelia. Loved great-uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

Commander RNZNVR VRD (Retired). Former Fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineers, London and Chartered Engineer. Tom passed away on 19 October 2018 aged 74. Loved husband of Margaret; father and father in law of Gary and Janine; and father of Colin. Much loved Poppa-Tom of Ben, Holly and Emily; and grandad of Tara. Loved eldest son of the late Thomas and Annie. Brother and brother in law of Les and Margaret-Mary (UK); Brother of Margaret Sharp and brother in law to Anne and the late Eddie Nickless, and Derek Sharp. Loved uncle to his nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the Oncology Department and the staff of Ward 5 north at Wellington Regional Hospital. A private cremation was held on 24 October 2018.

Peacefully on 8 November 2018 at Wellington, surrounded by family, aged 94 years. Formerly of Woodville. Loving and devoted wife of the late Jim. Cherished mother, nana and mother-in-law of Trish and Barb, Mary and Denis, John and Susan, Bernadette and Mike, and precious nana of Hayley, Sarah and Emma.
