On 15th April 2018 at Wairarapa Hospital, after a short illness. Aged 72. Dearly loved husband of Denise, loved father of Kerran and Allissa, Tiffany and Ian Smith. Very much loved Poppa of Zaillie and Grace, Noah and Toby, Briana, Annabelle and Isla. Messages to the Evans family may be posted to c/- PO Box 2055, Masterton. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Anthony of Padua Church, cnr of Princess St and Kitchener St, Martinborough, on Wednesday, April 18th at 1.00pm, followed by a burial at the Martinborough Cemetery.


EMSLIE, Alison Rae

On Monday, April 16, 2018, peacefully at Rahiri Rest Home, Dannevirke. Aged 77 years. Dearly loved wife of John (Jock); Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Iain and Jo, Andrew and Lois, Graeme and Tania, Craig and Chie. Loved Nana of Nicole, Monica; Sian, Campbell, Benjamin, Jayden; and Naomi. Much loved sister to Gordon and the late Joy. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Dannevirke Marion Kennedy Club (Alzheimer's NZ) and these may be left at the service. A service for Alison will be held at Knox Church, Swinburn Street, Dannevirke on Thursday, April 19, at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation.


TONKS, Garry Malcolm

Of Levin. Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 15 April 2018, aged 75 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Beverly, cherished Dad of Shane Tonks and Anna Hope, respected father-in-law of Aaron, treasured Grandad of Caitlin, and loved brother of Gloria Ede and Barbara Davies. A special thanks to the staff of Olive Tree Retirement Village for their wonderful care of Garry. Beloved wife and best friend of Warwick. Loving mother of Laney, Cherkayla, Boy, Codey, Rueben & Ben. Becks passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on 16th April 2018. A service will be held at 1.00pm on Thursday 19th April 2018 for family & friends at the Taranaki Crematorium. Passed away peacefully in her sleep at home. Loved wife of the late Eric. Dearly loved mother of Dena Ann, Susan and the late Johnny. A service to celebrate the life of Dena will be held in St Marks Anglican Church, Kenrick St, Te Aroha, Friday, 20th April, at 11.00am, followed by the burial at The Te Aroha Cemetery, Te Aroha. MUNDY, Shirley Ida (nee Allerby)

On Wednesday, April 11, 2018, very peacefully at home. Dearly loved wife and best mate of the late Russell. Much loved Mum of Gaylene (dec), Christine and David Kett, and Rex and Carol (England). Adored Gran of Samantha & Simon, & Nicole; Jade & Andy, & Dion; James & Korkor, & Freddy; & Kaden. Best friend and treasured Granny to Harrison. A special thank you for the love and care given to Shirley by the staff at Arohanui Hospice, the district nurses and all her carers over the last two months. On Friday, 6 April 2018, Georg passed away peacefully with Heli and Herta by his side. Beloved husband of Helgrid; brother and brother-in-law of Herta and Herbert; uncle of Peter Mistlberger and partner, Lyn; father of Doreen Leacock and Fred Litz; father-in-law of Murray and Sarah; Opa of Robert (and Karen), Philip (and Gail), Richard (and Rosie). According to his wishes, Georg is now at rest having been cremated after a private family service. Donations can be made to Wellington Free Ambulance.
