Passed away peacefully at Te Hopai Hospital on 13th October 2019, in her 93rd year. Much loved wife of Alan (deceased). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Margaret, Patricia and Mike, Peter and Lency, Christine and Mark, Andrew, John and Harriet, Paul and Jane. Loved Nana and Great-Nana to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Special thank you to the staff at Te Hopai Hospital and to all the wonderful carers and people who have supported her. In lieu of flowers donations to the Wellington Free Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service. On Sunday 13th October 2019, peacefully at Arohanui Hospice. In her 70th year. Dearly loved wife of Les. Dearly loved mother of Darren, Nigel, and Anthea. Much loved Grannie of Elijah, and Oliver. Passed away suddenly at Palmerston North Hospital on Monday, October 14, 2019, aged 59 years. Loved by Tangiiau whanau. A service for Charcol will be held at Harvey’s Chapel, 14 Rangiatea Street, Otaki, on Thursday, October 17, at 11.00am, followed by a private cremation.

Peacefully at Anne Maree Court, Sunday 13 October 2019, in his 84th year. Dearly loved and loving husband and companion of Joan (nee Martyn) for 59 years. Loved father of Stephen and Donna, Christopher and Marilyn, Jill, Elizabeth (deceased), Jason and Melinda. Loving Grandpa of Abigail, Daniel and Ben, Emily, George and James, Annabel and Eleanor. Our grateful thanks to the staff at Anne Maree Court for their care and kindness shown to John over the last 9 years. A Funeral Service for John will be held at North Shore Memorial Park, 235 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany, on Friday 18 October at 11.30am, followed by private interment. Devoted Nan of Dylan and Cole; Kohbyn, Iroquois, Massey, and Quarteah. Much loved sister, sister-in-law, and auntie to all her family. A service celebrating Desley’s life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Monday, October 21, 2019, at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation. Of Christchurch, late of Oamaru and South Wales UK. Passed away peacefully at Burwood Hospital on Sunday, October 13, 2019, aged 94 years. Dearly loved wife of the late George Albert Pears (New Castle UK). Much loved mother of Linda Pears (Christchurch), and the late son George Pears. Loved sister of Doreen. Loved aunt of Graham and Rachel and all her family in NZ and South Wales. Many thanks to all staff at Margaret Stoddart and Ngaio Marsh Rest Homes, Christchurch Hospital and Burwood Hospital for all their loving care of Florence. Died peacefully while at home in her bed surrounded by her treasures, God’s plan B came calling. It has been our pleasure to spend these last few months with our friend, our mum. Much loved mother of Sharon, Paul and Jennie, Nikki and the late Gary. Deeply loved "Grannie Annie" to Andrew and Haley, Benjamin, Ryan, Alexandra, Melissa, Natalie, and Nathan. Great-Grannie to Zebidiah and the late Omega. We wish to thank Dr’s Tony Jackson and Kate Clark whom mum simply adored.
