Passed away peacefully on
14 October 2019 surrounded by her family. Dearly loved wife of Dave (dec). Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Martin & Cecily, Andrea & David, Jude & Eugene. Loved Nana of Nicole, Bridie, James, Fergus, Molly-Rose, Eilish, and Ronan. Loved sister of Graeme, Peter, Bob and Richard (dec). Aged 49, sadly left us far too soon on October 10, 2019 after a courageously fought battle against Glioblastoma brain cancer. Very much loved husband and best friend of Kim; loving dad to Taylor and Jake; loved son of Margaret Janes & Graham Coleman (dec); bonus son of Malcolm Black (dec) and Aaron Janes; brother of Sharon, Darryl & Leighanne; loved son-in-law of Murray & Shona Brockelsby; brother-in-law & best mate to Todd & Sandy, Grant & Ann-Louise, Lisa & Grant. Peacefully at Annie Brydon Lifecare, Hawera, on Tuesday 15th October 2019, aged 80 years. Wife of the late Bernard, loved mum of Brenda, Barry, Brian and Ann. Cherished nana of 12 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Many thanks for the care of mum from the staff and management at Annie Brydon for their love and care over the last 7 years. Friends and family are invited to a graveside service at 11.30am, Friday 18th October 2019, at the Hawera Cemetery, where Maureen will be laid to rest with Bernard.

Aged 85 years. Passed suddenly but peacefully on Friday, October 11, 2019 at Windsor Park Care Home, Gore. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Hugh* and special friend of Jack*. Loved grandmother of Katherine, Lauren, Benjamin, Bryleigh, Caitlin, Tayla, Katia, Anouk, and great-grandmother of Carter, Leo, Jaxon and Felix. Loved sister, sister-in-law and Aunty of all her nieces and nephews.

On 12th October 2019, aged 92 years. Dearly loved father of John, Susan and Ian, and a much loved father-in law to Kerry and Geraldine. Adored Grandfather (Poppa) to Jason, Amy, Damon, Jaxson, Harley, Genevieve and Siobhan. Great-Grandfather to Jade, Oliver and Archer. Doug will also be very sadly missed by his step grandchildren Bernard, Andre, Jasmine and step great-grandchildren, his special friend Shane, Lan and family, and Doug’s very good neighbours in Longcroft Terrace. Doug was well travelled and will be very fondly remembered by a large circle of friends in New Zealand and overseas. Peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at Waikari Hospital. Aged 95 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Alan. Dearly loved mum of Kevin and Donna, Murray and Noeleen, Irene and Roger, and Ray and the late Glenis. Loved sister of the late Cyril. Specially loved and treasured nana of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family wish to thank all the staff at Waikari Hospital, who made Thelma’s stay, a home away from home.
