DOWLING, Pamela Vivian (nee Troon)

On Saturday, October 13, 2018; in her 82nd year. Dearly loved wife and "P.V" of the late Brian Dowling for a wonderful 58 years, a very special Mum and Mum-in-law of Suzie and Malcolm Quinn, Michelle and Robin Meuli, Grant (Crack) and Rosie Dowling, a very devoted Nana of her adored 12 grandchildren. Pam will be resting with her loving family at 530 Tay Street, Invercargill. A celebration of Pam’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Tuesday, October 16, at 1.00pm. Interment to follow at the Eastern Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Pam’s family would like to say a special thanks to Glenbrae Rest Home for the loving care of Mum over of the last 3 years, and to Clare House and Southland Hospital Medical Ward for their care over the last week.

On October 13, 2018, at Christchurch Hospital, with Nicola and Tracy at her side. Adored wife of the late Bill, loved mother of Nicola and Mark, Tracy and the late Alex, and the late Philip. Precious nana of Liam and Kylie; Amy and Isaac, Laura and Jeremie, Andrew and Roslyn; and great-nana of Stevie-Jane, and Tadhg Beecroft-Wilson; William and Hunter Walker; Isabelle, Aubrey and Carter King; and Evelyn Stewart.
Not until each loom is silent, and the shuttles cease to fly, will God unroll the pattern, and explain the reason why.

Passed away peacefully on Friday 12th October 2018. Dearly loved wife of the late James (Jim) Priest. Cherished and adored mother and mother-in-law of Lynne and Ken (Brisbane), Rod and Raewyn (New Plymouth), and Steven and Sandra (deceased) (New South Wales). With aching hearts, Lana and Blair Vinson announce the passing of our loving mother and grandmother, on Thursday, October 11, 2018, peacefully at Nurse Maude Hospital, aged 90 years. Predeceased in 2008 by her devoted husband George, two loving souls, now united eternally. Our deepest gratitude is extended to the hospital staff for their compassion and exemplary care of our darling Mother and Nan.
