On Monday, June 18, 2018, suddenly at home in Christchurch, aged 77 years. Dearly beloved husband and best friend of Denise, dearly loved father and father-in-law of Susan and Greg, Rosemarie, Wayne, and Stephen; Dean, Glen and Chris, special grandfather of Hagen, Alyssa, Amy, Leighton, Megan, Mariah, Blake, and Poppy, great-grandfather of Talan, and Nyla. Loved son-in-law of Doris and the late Pat Leahy, brother and brother-in-law of Kelvin (deceased) and Barbara, Brian (deceased) and Fay, Maureen and Gary (deceased), loved uncle to his nieces and nephews.

On June 18, 2018, peacefully, near his family, aged 76 years. Dearly loved husband of Judith for 50 years, much loved father and father-in-law of Greg and Chris, Brendan and Carla, and Julie and Simon Thomas, much loved grandad of Phillip and Caitlin, Eden, Brayden, Sjahn, Zaria, Jacob, and Tyler, loved brother of Brian, Raymond, and Lynette. Passed away peacefully after a short illness, aged 78 years. Loved wife of the late Albert Jones. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Sharon and Wayne, Joanne, and Paul and Tony. Sister of Janice, Rae and the late Peter Young. Beloved grandmother to Daniel, Kelly, Mathew, Zelie, Samara, Tara-Lee, Anton and Corey, and a very proud great-grandmother to her 8 great-grandchildren. Suddenly as the result of a tragic accident at Wellington on 17th June 2018, aged 61 years. Much adored younger sister & soulmate of Pauline & Warren Forbes, loved godmother of Aletta Lovell, fun loving aunt and in-law of John Lovell (Hawera), Hamish & Carmel Forbes (Coffs Harbour), and Ginny & Francisco Molina Forbes (Palmerston North), and of grandnieces and nephews Harrison and Lincoln Forbes, and Maximiliano and Isabel Molina Forbes.

Passed away peacefully after a short battle on Monday 18 June 2018 at Hamilton. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Jocelyne. Loved father of Andrew and Jo-Anne. ‘Not a single day without
a smile’

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frans van den Broek, aged 66, on June 18, 2018, after a long illness. His love and friendship will be greatly missed by his friend and partner of 30 years, Hanneke Schoneveld. He was a much loved father and father-in-law of Dana and Clinton, Lenny and Ben, Alex and Naomi, and Opa to Hendriks and Lillie. Frans leaves behind loving family members Ton and Nel, Geet and Thea, Miek, Ad and Miep. He was also a much loved and respected member of the Schoneveld family. Deepest gratitude to Coby Schoneveld without whose help, love and care we could not have managed. Thanks to all our family, friends and colleagues for their continuing support, love and laughter. Regtl No 070299 (Sapper) 3rd Division New Caledonia WWII. Passed away peacefully at Taumarunui on Tuesday 19th June 2018, aged 97, surrounded by his loving wife Dolly of 70 years and family. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Ken and Jill, David and Jean, Graham and Lesley, Trevor and Carol, and Sue and Brett Holmes. Grandad and Poppa of 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Heartfelt thanks to St John Ambulance, doctors and nurses of Taumarunui Hospital and district nurses. Ralph’s Service will be held on Monday 25th June at Christchurch (Anglican), cnr Manuaute and Huia Streets, Taumarunui, at 1.00pm, followed by interment at the Taumarunui Cemetery.
