Tragically on the morning of Friday, 14 June 2019, aged 19 years. Deeply loved son of Gareth Grant and Paula Conroy. Cherished brother of Ryan. Treasured by Jeannie, Chris, and all his extended family. Adored grandson of Christine, Terry, Lyn and John. Much loved nephew of Kerryn, Ange, Darren and their families. A service for Shaun will be held at the Taradale Rugby Club, 295 Guppy Road, Taradale, on Wednesday 19 June at 2.00pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to St John Ambulance at the service. MATTHEWS, Stephen Arther

Passed away peacefully on June 16, 2019. Aged 72 years. Stephen will be deeply missed by his loving wife Bev, his sons Steve, the late Michael, Grant, Tony, and Rob, his daughters-in-law Marie, and Tamee. Pops was adored by his grandchildren Nicole and Scott, Brie, Zoe, Zenith, and Ella. A celebration of Stephen’s life will be held at the Sugar Loaf Chapel of Howard & Gannon Funerals, cnr Lee Road and Gloucester Street, Taradale, Napier, on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at 2pm, followed by a private cremation. TOPP, Peter Bethridge

Suddenly, yet peacefully, on June 15, 2019, at Waikato Hospital, in his 91st year. To Jean he was a loving devoted husband for over 65 years. To Bruce, Lynda and Jools, he was just a dad who loved us from day one, taught us to ride horses, and made us laugh and love life. A special father-in-law to Richard and Donna, and Popa to Tony, Dion, Oliver, Cameron and Amelia, and great-grandfather to Lyric. Tears will flow, memories will be shared, and music will ring out at the Morrinsville RSA, Studholme Street, Morrinsville, on Thursday, 20 June 2019 at 1.00pm, to honour our beloved father and loving husband and great horseman.
