YOUNG, Andrew Aitken (Andy)

Reg. No. NZ7276, AB, RNZN, WW2. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Hutt Hospital on 16 October 2018, in his 94th year. Loved husband of the late Peggy. Loved father and father-in-law of David and Susan. Grandad to Sophie and Harriett; great-grandfather of Charles Andrew and beloved friend of Judy. In lieu of flowers donations to the Te Omanga Hospice (PO Box 30-814, Lower Hutt 5040) would be appreciated or may be left at the Service. Special thanks to the staff of the Medical Ward at Hutt Hospital for their loving care and support. A service to celebrate Andrew’s life will be held in the Small Crematorium Chapel, Karori Cemetery, Karori, on Friday, 19 October at 1.30pm, followed by private cremation. RADFORD, Denis George

On October 16, 2018, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, aged 70 years. Dearly loved husband to Jeanette. Loved father and father-in-law to Craig and Annette, Mark and Jacqui. Loving granddad to Jamie, Lucy, Charlie, and Oscar. Loved brother and brother-in-law to Yvonne (dec), Jack (dec) and Glennis, Kelly. On October 15, 2018, peacefully in his sleep at Fergusson Rest Home, Upper Hutt, aged 84 years. Dearly loved husband of Marlene. Loved father of Karen and Julie. Sadly missed by all his family and the local community. Family wish to thank the dedicated staff at Fergusson Rest Home. A service for Warren will be held at the Salvation Army, 695 Fergusson Drive, Upper Hutt, on Friday, October 19, 2018, at 11.00am, followed by private cremation.

WEIR, Pauline R

Pauline Weir went home to her Lord and Saviour peacefully on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, aged 82. Pauline was the dearly loved wife and best friend of the late David Weir for 52 happy years, precious mother of the late Keith Weir, Jude Tasker, Carolyn Sampson and Nev Weir. Pauline was a much loved mother-in-law, nana to 12 grandchildren, and great-nana to 15 great-grandchildren. A service for Pauline will be held at 1.00pm at Morrinsville Baptist Church, Howe Street, Morrinsville, on Friday, October 19, followed by burial at Morrinsville Cemetery, Seales Road, Morrinsville. In lieu of flowers, Pauline requested that donations be made to the Bible Society of NZ, Private Bag 27901, Marion Square, Wellington 6141. Peacefully called home, sure in the knowledge of the love of her family, at Waikato Hospital on 17 October 2018, aged 89 years. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Michael of Thailand, Brian Way & Paula De Goldi of Palmerston North, Kathleen "Kathy" & Doug Bentham of Te Aroha, Margaret "Marg" & Edsel Forde of Tamahere. Devoted granny and granny-in-law of Maria (& Aaron), Nina (& Aliki), and Daniel Way; Jimmy, Thomas (& Simone), Patrick, and Jessie Bentham; Rory and Paddy Forde. Proud great-granny of Anita, Coralie, Ari, and Baby Bilham.

On Thursday, October 11, 2018, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, in her 93rd year. Dearly loved wife of the late Bill, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Robert, and Barry and Sharon, loved Nana of Jason, Christine and Chris, and Cheree, loving great-grandma of Chloe, Kirsty, Ryan, Sophie, Hayley, Aimee, and Kasyn. Aged 84, at Nelson on October 13, 2018. Late of Christchurch and Twizel. Oldest son of Hap and Daisy LeCompte, and loved brother and brother-in-law of Lois and the late Doug George, and Barry and Dianne LeCompte. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Parkstone Rest Home, aged 80. A much loved wife of the late Eddie, a loved and treasured mother of her 11 children, mother-in-law, grandmother to her multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and friend to many. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on 13th October 2018, in his 81st year. Loving husband of Barbara, and adored brother of Averil. Cherished and much loved father and father-in-law of Ann & Malcolm, and Helen & Martin. Very much loved and awesome Granddad to Charlotte, Sophie, Georgia, Anna, Callum and Becky. A service to celebrate Kelvin’s life will be held on Wednesday 24th October 2018 at 1.00pm at Trinity St. Paul’s Union Parish Church, Queen Street, Cambridge. Passed away October 14, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer, aged 63 years. Dearly loved son/stepson of Shirley and Les Henson. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Janine and Pete, Sheryl and Brent, Ian and Debbie, Vonna and Dennis. A loved uncle of his nieces and nephews.
