Passed away peacefully in Nelson with family at his side, on Monday, September 13, 2021. Aged 84 years. Dearly loved husband for 61 years of Janice, loved father and father-in-law of Wayne and Sharon, and Michelle and Peter Wright. Loving Grandad of all his grand and great-grandchildren. A big thank you to the team at Nurse Maude and Nelson Tasman Hospice for their support and care of Fred and the family. Due to current restrictions, Fred’s family have had a private service in Nelson, a memorial service will follow in Christchurch when restrictions allow. Peacefully slipped away on September 13, 2021, surrounded by love, light and laughter. Deeply loved and cherished by her children, Lisa, Steve, Emma, Kate, and Tom. Loving grandmother and great-grandmother to all of her grandchildren.

Passed peacefully in the company of Graham and Sarah, at Dunedin Public Hospital, on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, aged 86 years. Formerly of Wyndham Southland and Oamaru. Dearly loved husband of the late Lorna. Loved father of Graham, Darrell and the late Paul. Loved father-in-law and special friend of Sarah Moreton. Cherished Grandad and Great-Grandad of all his grandchildren. Many thanks to the staff at Sandringham House for their genuine care of Dad during his time there. Passed away peacefully at his home in Auckland on September 13, 2021, aged 85 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Caryl, beloved father and father-in-law of Anne-Marie and Duncan, Grant and Lynne, and adored Granddad of Matilda, Louis, Nuobelle, and Abby. Gardening Guru of Rangiora. After a courageous battle Ron passed away peacefully at Ballarat Care Home surrounded by his family with love and laughter. 88 years young. Loved eldest son of the late Iris and Harold Baynon, Loved eldest brother of Rosemary and the late Norman Crozier, Gavin and Willemina, Neil and Pam. Ron was a loved husband and travelling companion of Heather (nee Maitland). Loved Dad and father-in-law of Joy Coup, Vaughan and Adina, Bruce, Glen and Debbie, and Craig. Loved Grandad of Natasha and James Tait, Belle Baynon, Jonathon and Chantelle Coup, Michael and the late Jacob Baynon, Caitlin Macpherson, Jack and Harry Baynon, Quinn and Jono Baynon, and great-Grandpop of Eliza Tait. Loved brother-in-law of John and the late Graeme Maitland. In lieu of flowers a donation to the cancer society would be greatly appreciated, and may be made on their website. Dearly loved mother and mother-in- law of Louise and Bill Hackshaw (Rolleston), Stephen Dey (Dunedin), the late Sandra (Perth), Phillip (U.K.), and Deborah Engstrom (Rolleston). Much loved Nanny Mon of all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her nieces and nephews. Dearly loved sister and life-long friend of Lola and Stuart Cross (Gisborne). Dearly loved wife of Maurice Geoffrey Macdonald (Geoff)*, cherished and loving mother and mother-in-law of Marlene and Paul* Clifford, Philip and Patricia Macdonald, Suzanne and John Manihera. Dearly loved and respected Nana and Great-Nana to her wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As per Joyce’s wishes a private service has been held. Loved mother-in-law of past and present Viv, Mari, Diane, Michelle, Chrissy, Shar, May, and Sharon (deceased).
