Peacefully in Upper Hutt on 12th June 2021, in her 91st year. Much loved wife of the late Michael. Dearly loved Mum of (the late) John and Linda, Bryn and Linda, and Jan. Loving Nana of Rebecca, and Aaron; Nathan, Nicole, Jhenai, and Shontae; Courtnay, and Morgan; Cameron; and her 8 great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held in Christ Church Anglican Church, Wicksteed Street, Wanganui, on Wednesday, 16th June 2021, at 1.00pm.


DEAN, Maurice Albert

18.11.1934 — 13.6.2021
Peacefully at Parkwood Retirement Village on Sunday 13 June 2021. Aged 86 years. Beloved husband of Margaret (for 57 years). Loved father and father-in-law of Christine & Mike, Philip & Courtney, and Martin & Bex. Proud Poppa of Hayley, Oliver, Jacob, Amy, Laura, Toby, and Emily. RICKSON, Josephine Rose (Josie) (nee Low)

On June 14, 2021, peacefully at Coldstream Lifecare, Ashburton. In her 95th year. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Barbara and Arthur Thomson (Ross), and Malcolm and Daphne (Wellington). Adored nana of Mark and Cara, Jason and the late Susan, and Aaron and Kris; Michael and Katie, and Angela and Malcolm, and loved by her many great-grandchildren. Friend of Norm. GALLAGHER, Frances (Fran) Mary

Fran died peacefully on 11 June 2021 at Wellington Hospital. Much loved mother of Rebecca, Jules and Tracey; partner of Adam; grandmother of Izzi, Zac and Olivia, Jacob, Amber, Crystal and Sam, big sister of Tony. She was Auntie Fran for Melissa, Marc, Leena, Michael, Layla, Kora and Adam; and a well loved and precious friend to many. RAE, Helen Marjorie

Passed away peacefully at Tuarangi Home, Ashburton, on June 14, 2021, aged 87 years. Much loved wife of the late Alan. Loved mother of Ian, Kenny and Roben (Sydney), and Malcolm and Mary (Gold Coast), and dearly loved grandmother of Bradley, Daniel, and Mitchell. Almost 80 years young. Loved husband of Jan Earwaker, and Fur Kid Mouse (Foxy dog). Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Kim and Norman Strang, Dale and Hamish Johnstone. Treasured granddad of Campbell and Mackenzie Johnstone.
