Passed away peacefully and surrounded by loving family on Saturday 12 October 2019, aged 90 years. Cherished Mumma of Annette, Paul and Wendy, Steven and Cher, Geoffrey, Bronia, and Mandy. Dearly loved babcia of Shelley, Krystal, Jordan, and Stasia; and pra babcia of Lincoln. Treasured sister of Leon, Stasia (deceased), and Vic (deceased). Messages to B. ACKROYD, Jessie Farquhar

Passed away peacefully on Friday, October 11, 2019, aged 94 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Ken, loved mum and mother-in-law of Dot, Janice, Arthur, and Jess and Alan; much loved grandma, nana, great-granny, and great- great-grandma. The family would like to acknowledge the care shown to Jessie from the staff at WesleyCare. She is now free from the torment of Dementia. Passed away peacefully, aged 85. Loved very much by her daughters Jacki, Lesley & Lynnie; and sons-in-law Jan & John. Treasured by her grandchildren Jade, Bonnie, Samuel, Sophie & Kate; and great-grandchildren Tilly & Seth. Absolutely adored by her husband Clem for 65 years – he will greatly miss his soulmate. We will be having a private service.

(late of Kaposvar, Hungary). On the afternoon of October 13, 2019, at Ilam Lifecare (Christchurch), in her 85th year. Loved wife of the late John Otto Bain, also of Hungary. Dearly loved mother of Thomas William and Robert Alexander. Very missed granny to Nikolai Eugene and Jeffrey Alexander. Greatly missed neighbour of Peter, Susan, Luke and Annabelle Coleman. In accordance with Maria’s wishes, a private cremation has been held but a memorial service to celebrate her life is being held at the Christchurch Hungarian Club Hall located at 11 Hardy Street, New Brighton, this Saturday, October 19, commencing at 11.00am. All welcome and attendees will be given the opportunity to share any stories from their life about her.

Dinkie passed away at Sevenoaks Hospital on Saturday, 12 October 2019, aged 99 years. Beloved wife of Peter who died in 1979. Loved mother to her children, Patricia and Anne, cherished grandmother to her grandsons, George, Joshua, Heath and Sam, and great-grandmother to Jacob, Madeleine, Elliott, Zoë and Phoebe.
