On Monday 19th November 2018, peacefully, aged 76 years. Loving partner of Wendy. Treasured Dad of Brett, Belinda, Angela and Bianca, and Grandad of Brigham and Kimball. A celebration of Dave’s life will be held in the Lady Goodfellow Chapel, Waikato University, parking via Gates 1 and 2, Knighton Road, Hamilton, on Monday 26th November, at 11.00am, followed by burial at Hautapu Cemetery. Peacefully on November 20, 2018 at Princess Alexandra Rest Home, Napier. In her 90th year. Dearly loved wife of Erlin Thomsen, and the late Charles Newman. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Royston and Grace, Bruce and Chris, Sherryl and Graham Howie, Pete (deceased), and Greg and Mandy. Special mother-in-law of Jenny. Much loved Nanna of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on November 18, 2018, aged 87, at Jack Inglis Hospital, Motueka. Cherished wife of the late David, dearly missed mother and mother-in-law of Michael, Nathan and Bev, Mary and Steve, Julie and the late Timothy. Treasured Momma of all her grandchildren and 3 great-grandsons. Dearly loved sister and aunty to many. A valued member of the Christadelphian Ecclesia Church, Nelson. Passed away peacefully on November 18, 2018, at Whareama (Nelson), in her 101st year, surrounded by the love of her family. Cherished wife of the late Pat. Deeply loved and treasured mother and mother-in-law of John and Jan (Christchurch), Jeanette and Graham Sherlock (Richmond, Nelson). Dearly loved Nana of Jason and Lizzie (London), Mike and Ben (Sydney) and the late James; Geoff and Sheree (Richmond) and Richard (Raglan). Loved great-grand-Nana of River, Hunter and the late Leon; and Macy and Jake. Loved sister and sister-in-law of the late Doris and Dick Kinley, and the late Kath and Graeme Wilson. Loved Aunt of her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the wonderful staff of Whareama for their loving care for the past 7 years. MEERS, Tim (Sting) (Timothy)

On Saturday, November 17, 2018, we lost one of the most bubbliest, most beautiful men on the planet in a tragic and heart breaking accident, his name was Tim. Loved husband of Lorraine, best friend and father of Jade, and Trey. One of Dad’s closest mates/brothers said,
“he always challenged the norms, and his funny does it look like I give a toss attitude, always kept everyone in good spirits”, he will truly be missed
A service for Sting will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill,TODAY (Wednesday) November 21, at 2.00pm, private cremation to follow. Messages to 156 Main Street, Otautau.

WHIFFIN, Barry David

On November 18, 2018. It is with deep sadness that we announce Barry’s passing, in ICU after a medical event, while riding his bike on Friday on the Port Hills. Something he was passionate about. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Elainor for 36 years, respected and loved brother and brother-in-law of John and Joy Whiffin (Perth), Malcolm and the late Barbara Mather (Oamaru), and Chris and Doug Mather (Timaru), respected and fun loving uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Elainor would like to sincerely thank fellow cyclists who assisted Barry at the time, and all emergency services, especially ICUChristchurch Hospital.
