HUTCHINSON, Ronald Harry

Of Otaki. On 14 June 2019 peacefully at Winara Care Home. Dearly loved husband of Betty (dec). Loving father of Bob (dec), Wayne and Craig. Loved ‘pop’ of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A farewell service will be held at Harvey’s Chapel, 14 Rangatira Street, Otaki, on Wednesday 19 June at 11.00am, followed by private cremation at Horowhenua Crematorium, Levin. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mary Potter Hospice would be appreciated.


HOOKER, Nora Ethel (nee Little)

On 14 June 2019 peacefully at Hilda Ross Retirement Home aged 95 years. Loved wife of the late Les. Dearly loved mother & mother-in-law of Rodney & Pam, Glenda & Warrick, Warren & Judy. Loved Nana of 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. A service for Nora will be held at Hillcrest Baptist Church, Cnr Clyde Street & Knighton Road, Hamilton, on Wednesday, 19 June 2019 at 11.30am, followed by burial at Hamilton Park Cemetery, Morrinsville Road, Newstead, Hamilton. IRWIN, Olga Lillian

Passed away peacefully on 14th June 2019, at age 92. Dearly loved wife of the late Ray (Mouse), and much loved mother and mother-in-law of Greg and Annette, Dale and Rodney Spiers, and Mark. Adored nana of 9 and great-grandmother of 12.

A Celebration of Olga’s life will be held at St John’s Anglican Church, Arawata Street, Te Awamutu, on Tuesday, 18th June 2019, at 11.30am, followed by a private burial. O’MALLEY, Margaret(Van der Veen)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beautiful mother Margaret O’Malley on June 12, 2019, aged 71 years.
Muma you lit the world with so much laughter, love and kindness.
You touched so many people with your beautiful heart.
We know you will be dancing your way into the next life.

Mum is survived by her daughters Julia and Amber, her brother George Van der Veen, and her cats Levina, Kink and Cocoa.
Words cannot express the void you leave behind but your energy and memory will live on through us.

Suddenly and peacefully at home on Thursday June 13, 2019, aged 82 years. Dearly loved husband and mate of the late Margaret. Dearly loved and adored dad and father-in-law of Wayne, and Debbie and Garry. Loved and devoted Poppa to Nicholas, Nathan, & Danielle, Andrew, Scott, Josh, Amanda, & Kelsi, and Great Poppa to Taylor. Much loved by all his nieces, nephews, and the extended family, close neighbours, and his mates the “Woodies”.

TALBOT, Frances Jane

On June 13, 2019, peacefully at Ashburton Hospital, aged 87. Ever so dearly loved, and a loving wife of the late John Talbot. Beloved and much missed Mum of Jayne and Kevin, Sharon, Rosemary and Nick, Matthew and Annette. Adored Grandma to her five granddaughters Christiana and Tim, Rebecca and Michael, Emily, Isabelle, and Victoria. Loved sister and sister-in-law, and aunty of all her nieces and nephews. WOOD, Patrick Laurence (Pat)

Of Levin formerly of Porirua. On 12 June 2019 at Palmerston North Hospital, aged 78 years, peacefully with his family around him. Loved husband of Tricia for 56 years. Loving father to Linda, Tina, and Michael and father- in- law to Andrew. Grandad to Oliver and Abbey.
We will all miss him terribly.
A farewell service will be held at Harvey’s Chapel, 284 Oxford Street, Levin, on Tuesday 18 June at 2pm followed by private cremation.

DICKERSON, Shane Clive John

Passed away surrounded by loving family on Friday 7 June 2019, aged 34 years. Dearly loved son of Alan and Christine. Cherished Dad of Lukas, Logan, and Hunter. Much loved brother of Darryl, Kieran, and Jacob. A treasured grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Passed away peacefully, on Friday, June 7, 2019, at Waterlea Rest Home, surrounded by her family. Brenda was 93 years old and the last surviving member of her large family of 14. She is survived by her five daughters; Carol, Jeanette, Val, Ali and Jill. Dearly loved and adored Nana, Gran, Granny and Super Gran by her 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Much loved by her sons-in-law who became the sons she always wanted. A very special aunty, loved by her many nieces and nephews. Brenny was a beautiful, gentle, kind soul who loved life, laughter and most of all family. She is now resting peacefully and we are all blessed to have had her in our lives. We thank everyone for their love and support and a special thank you to Kathy at Waterlea, and all of her wonderful team for their dedication and care of our precious Mumma. Thank you to Alastair at Geoffrey T Sowman for his gentle and respectful care and guidance. Brenda’s ashes will be interred with her beloved late husband, William George Crossman, at a private family service in Picton. Bill and Bren will be together once again. Any messages can be sent to
