Dearly loved and cherished daughter and sister of John, Nittaya and Rebecca, passed away suddenly at home on 11 September 2020, from acute cardiac failure.
Taken too soon, our beautiful and talented girl was full of life, anticipating so many exciting opportunities ahead.

Died peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by family, 23rd September 2020, in Cambridge. Beloved husband to Jennie for 61 years. Loved father of Liz, Deb and Catherine, and Grandfather to Hannah, Matthew, Thomas and Rowan. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Lifecare Cambridge for their wonderful care of Dad. His funeral will be held at 2.00pm, on Tuesday 29th September, at St Peter’s Anglican Cathedral, Hamilton.

Died peacefully at Pohlen Hospital in Matamata on September 13, 2020, aged 90. Loved only daughter of Lil and Charlie Higgs (of Stratford and New Plymouth), and mother of Colin Hopkirk (Napier), and Dianne Hopkirk (Binalong, NSW), and grandmother of their children Gemma, Joseph and the late Nicholas, and Daniel, and great grandmother of Elodie. Ever loved darling companion, best mate and husband to Lizzie, adored adoptive dad to Jess and Meg. A kind and gentle man. At peace after months of suffering; bravely, stoically and heartbreakingly endured. Thanks to all family and friends, here and overseas, for their support, kindnesses and shared precious moments during this sad and challenging time. Peacefully at Rhapsody Rest Home on Monday, 21st September 2020. Adored, loved and cherished Mum to Bruce and Carol Candy, her grandaughter Jessica and partner Kevin, and great-grandaughter Mia. A special lady who put up a brave fight to the end. We will never forget you Mum.
On Tuesday, September 22, 2020, Kim passed away on his 63rd birthday, after a courageous battle with cancer. Kim was a treasured hubby of Marie, adored Dad and Dad-in-law to Lissy and Paul, and Matt and Sabrina, respected and loved Pop of Ethan, Christian and Harlan, adored Poppy of Delilah and Chevelle (the two tartles), loved son of the late William and Grace, loved brother to Andrew and Ruth, Chris and Trish, and the late Karen (Kim’s twin sister) and Duncan, loved son-in-law to the late Patricia MacFadyen, and respected brother-in-law of Ian and Sue and his nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the Nurse Maude Hospice who made Kim’s final hours peaceful. A talented and lovely person who was devoted to his family.
The funeral will be held Tomorrow (Friday), at 10.00am, at home 41 Fusilier Street, where we have all our treasured memories. At 12.30pm Kim will be taken for a private cremation.
