Passed away peacefully at Arohanui Hospice surrounded by family on Friday October 11, 2019. Aged 73 years. Dearly loved wife of Brian and much loved mother to Grant, Tony and Andrea. Nanny to Chad, Jordan, Blake, Mason, Max and Freya. Great-Nanny to Oroua. A big thank you to all those who have supported her over the last five months. In lieu of flowers the family would welcome donations to St John Ambulance Feilding. Friends are invited to attend a service for Rose at the Feilding Funeral Chapel, 282 Kimbolton Road, Feilding on Wednesday October 16, 2019 at 2.00pm. Followed by private cremation.

79 years, joined the choirs of angels and saints in Heaven on Friday 11th October 2019, at his home surrounded by loved ones.

On October 10, 2019 peacefully at his home; aged 86 years. Dearly loved husband of Janice and much loved father and father-in-law of Jan & Teresa and Anna & Derek. Pops of Bridget, Christopher, Jordan, Natalya and Liam. Loved Wujek of Marysia, Irena and Janka. Special thanks to Dr Hugh McCabe and the nurses from Te Omanga Hospice. On October 11, 2019 at Kenepuru Hospital, Porirua, aged 72 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Errol. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Craig and Heather, Stephanie Bruce and John Cameron. Loved Nanma of Maddison and Lachlan Bruce, and Jonty and Spencer Cameron. Special thanks to the staff of Ward 4 Kenepuru Hospital for their loving care shown to Ngaire and family. It is with a heavy heart that the Whatarau whanau announce the passing of Ernest (Ernie) Hemi Whatarau who passed surrounded by his loved ones. Dearly loved dad to Aidan Hemi Whatarau, Bailey Hampton Whatarau Stuart, Shania Madison Whatarau Stuart, Sophie Melanie Stuart. Treasured son of Jean Whatarau and the late Jim Whatarau. Adored and loved brother and brother-in-law of Kim Marama and Richy Elers, and Ricky Rangi and Ginny Whatarau. Beloved partner of Astrid Jenson. Uncle and great-uncle to all his nieces and nephews and great mate to Jeremy and Leanne Mckibbin, and Eve Walsh. Cherished and valued friend to Lisa Stuart and Carol Manning. Valued friend to many and loyal work colleague where he spent over 20 years at Taylor Prestons. The celebration of Ernie’s life will be held at the Johnsonville Rugby Club, 80 Helston Road, Paparangi, Wellington, at 11.00am, Monday 14th October, followed by a private cremation. Ernie is lying in state at 38 Havana Road, Granada Village, if any family or friends would like to come pay their respects. Born London, England 7 April 1946. Passed away peacefully at Wellington Regional Hospital on 11 October 2019. Loved wife of Ramon for 51 years; mother and mother-in-law of Joshua and Lysette, and Nathaniel and Nicole; beloved Nan Nan of Jacob, Samuel, Sophie and Lucas; sister of Bruce, Allison and Madeleine; sister-in-law of Cheimenbhai, Parvati, Damayantiben and Rajesh.
