Passed away peacefully on Friday, 12 July 2019, at Avon Lifecare. Loved husband of the late Janice. Much loved and respected father of Sharon, Wayne (Deceased), Nigel, Michelle, Adrianne, Andre, Stephanie and Miles. Much loved Pop to his Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. Special thanks to staff and residents for their love and support. At Louis’ request a private cremation has taken place.

Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother died peacefully on Saturday, 13 July, 2019 at Mossbrae, surrounded by her loving family. Dearly loved wife of the late Charles (Charlie). Loved Mum of Shirley and Allan Bridger, Peter, Helen Buchan and John Cooney (Christchurch), John and Elaine, Janette and Nick Muirhead. Loved Nana of Barbara, Christine, Anne, Helen, and Jenny; Richard, and Amy; James, Daniel, and Hollie; Jenna, Ryan and Courtney; and loved great-nana of all 19 great-grandchildren. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Mossbrae for their loving care of Jessie. A service to celebrate Jessie’s life will be held in Campbell and Sons Chapel, 95 Gordon Road, Mosgiel at 2.00pm, on Wednesday, 17 July, followed by private cremation. Passed away peacefully at home, unexpectedly, on 13th July 2019, aged 89 years. Dearly loved wife of the late John, and loved mother of Peter, Rosemary and Elizabeth, mother-in-law of Sharon and Peter; and cherished nanny of Jack and Katie.

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Marcia at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Clarkin Road, Hamilton, on Thursday, 18th July at 11.00am, followed by burial at Hamilton Park Cemetery, Newstead.
