Passed away peacefully at Malvina Major Hospital on 20 May 2020, in her 95th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Rt. Hon. Sir Lancelot Adams-Schneider KCMG. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Vincent and Jeanette, Warren and Benita, Jillian and Valance (dec). Special grandma to Penelope, Justine, Frances; James, Sarah, Jayne; David, Jason, Michelle. A loved great-grandmother to her 14 great-grandchildren.

ROWE, Alan Neville

1 Jan 1966 – 19 May 2020
Sadly taken from us. Dearly loved partner of Donna (Dot), loved son, brother and brother-in-law of Janet and the late Neville, Wendy, Greig and Deanna. Loved Dad of T-Neal, Rickielee, Noah-James and Davy, and his grandchildren, stepdad of Sara and Markus, and loyal companion of Denis. On May 20, 2020, at Nelson Hospital, aged 84 years. Dearly loved father of Kim, Mark, Shane, and Todd. Loved grandfather of his 5 grandchildren, and long time friend of Sue. WALL, Sheila Kathleen

Of Kairanga, Palmerston North. On Thursday 21st May 2020 (peacefully) at Cook Street Nursing Care Centre. Aged 102. Dearly loved wife of the late Tony. Loved mother of Anthony and Patricia (Napier), Christopher (deceased) and Suzanne (Kairanga), Susan and Garry Gordon (New Plymouth), Cecelia and Noel Johnston (Raumati South). Much loved Gran of her 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
A page turned, a chapter completed, a life well lived,
a rest well earned.
She will always be in our hearts.

WIKELEY, Angela Caroline

Of Levin, formerly of Waikanae, on 23 May 2020, at Horowhenua Health Centre, aged 80 years. A loved mother, grandmother, sister, aunty, and will be sadly missed by all. In accordance with Angela’s wishes a private cremation has been held. Messages please c/- 284 Oxford Street, Levin 5510.


TAYLOR, Denise

Died peacefully at home on Friday, May 22, 2020. Aged 82 years. Wonderful wife to Bill, cherished mother of Frank Downs James (dec) and Lloyd Mansfield James. Much loved grandmother to Holly, Esther, Ryan, Ellie and Maddie and four great-grandchildren, Tommy, Evie, Harry and Leo. She is survived by two brothers and their families in the UK. Due to current Government restrictions the celebration of Denise’s life, in the fashion she requested, is not possible at this time but will be held on a future date when her wishes that happiness and flowers be the central parts of that occasion can be fulfilled.



Passed away suddenly, but peacefully, at Nelson Hospital, on May 24, 2020, surrounded by her family. Loving wife of Arthur. Mother and mother-in- law of Kevin and Denise, Brian and Min, Steph and Russell. Loving Grandmother of Blair and Jaimee, Dion and Karli, Gareth and Claudia, Mishayla and Zack, Kamble and Tori, and Great-Grandmother of Billie-May, Oakley, Marlo and Vance. A private service has been held at June’s request.


CUNNINGHAM, Ralph Martin

Passed away peacefully at Waterlea Lifecare, on Friday, May 22, 2020. In his 97th year. Loved husband of the late Phyllis, much loved dad of Rosanne, Karen, Wendy, Bruce, Michael, and Bob, and their respective spouses. Beloved grandad and great-grandad, and a loved uncle. RALM, DavinderKaur (Khalsa)

Passed away peacefully on Sunday 24th May 2020 and cremated on 26th May 2020. Wife of the late Gordon Ralm. Loving mother of Phillip, Michael, Robert (deceased), Anita & Steven and mother-in-law of Harinder, Shinder and Malili. Grandmother of Angela, Matthew, Ramanjeet, Dominic & Sapphire and Great-Grandmother of Ezra & Dalex. Will be sadly missed by family and the community.


STEVENS, Joan (nee Taylor)

From Lyttelton. Sadly but peacefully, after a brave battle with cancer, on Thursday, May 21, 2020; aged 87 years. Dearly loved mother of Michelle and Graeme, Kim and Paul, Daryell and Georgie, Gayleen and Craig. Treasured Granny of Crawford and Courtney, Kendra, Jordan, Whitney, DJ and Harley, Taryn, Samuel and Kayla, Emma, Lewis and Taylor. Great-Granny of all her precious great-grandchildren. A loved daughter, sister, sister-in-law, and aunty. Special thanks to Nurse Maude for the tender care given to Mum. You are now finally at rest after your battle these past few months with cancer.
Rest in peace and may you continue to look after us all, from above.

FLETT, Dawn Elizabeth Ann

Passed away peacefully on May 22, 2020, aged 86, with family present. Loved wife of the late Harry Marshall and late George Flett, and much loved mother of Phillip, Michael, Simon, James and Rachel. Only daughter of the late Harry and Ellis Robinson. Adored by so many and so cherished by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her extended family.
Will be sadly missed

At Christchurch Hospital, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020, after an 8-day battle. Dearly loved soulmate and wife of Alistair (Al/Ally) for 49 years. Much loved mum of Peter and partner Abbe (England), and Brent and partner Naomi (Australia), and cherished Grandma of Joshua (Australia). Loved daughter of the late Doreen and Rawi. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Russ (dec) and Sis (Rae), Murray and Cherie, and Brendon and Chrissie, and all her nieces and nephews.
Viv you will be sadly missed for your beautiful smile and generous heart. You were just a wonderful person loved by the many that knew you.
