FRASER, Malcolm Bruce

On June 22, 2021, at Hutt Hospital, Lower Hutt, unexpectedly as the result of an accident; aged 56 years. Much loved Dad of Lily. Loved son of June & the late Ian, and brother and brother-in-law of Jude & Jack (dec), Geoff & Kirsty, Ken & Natasha. Much loved Uncle of his nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wellington Free Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left online at www.wfa.org.nz... or at the service. Family wish to thank the doctors and nurses at ICU, Hutt Hospital. A celebration of Malcolm’s life will be held in Kingswood, Cnr King & Cairo Street, Upper Hutt, on Monday, June 28, 2021 at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation. On Monday, June 21, 2021, at Wairau Hospital. Aged 96 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Leicester. Treasured Mum of Annette and Mike, Maree and Alan, Collene and Neal, and the late Trish. Much loved Nana Marker of all her grand and great-grandchildren. Messages may be sent to 21 Buick Street, Blenheim 7201. HOEY, Neil Brian

On Friday 18 June 2021, peacefully at Wellington Hospital with his close family. Aged 88 years. Much loved father of Emma and grandfather to Eva-Rose and Suvi. Brother to Peter. A generous friend to so many. Special thanks to the staff at Wellington Regional Hospital (Level 7) for the care and respect given to Dad during the last few days of his life.

McINTOSH, Joan Cicely

Dr Joan McIntosh died at Palmerston North Hospital after a stroke, aged 101 years old. She is mourned by her husband John, daughters Ann Kilduff and Frances Dibble and seven grandchildren. The family wish to thank the staff of Ward (OPAL) 25 for their kind and sensitive care of Joan. The funeral will be at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit on Monday, June 28 at 11.00am. No flowers but any donations to the Fred Hollows Foundation.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday 23 June 2021, aged 89 years. Beloved eternal companion of Dennis. Adored mother of Hinga and Tutu Wi-Repa, Elly and Manu Edwards, Joce, and Paula and Richard Frearson. Loved Kui Bet of Rongo and Carly, Paora and Katene; Teri and Louise, Erana, Manu, Hinerei and Ephraime; Tipene, Marshall, Erina, and her great-grandchildren Tama, Ihaka, Teri, Korra, and Manaia. A funeral service will be held at The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints, Waihi Road, Hawera, on Saturday 26th June 2021, at 11.00am, after which Betty will be laid to rest at the Motuawa Urupa, Winks Road Manaia.

Left us to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday 22nd June 2021. Aged 81 years. He leaves behind his wife, Jean, his four children, Susan and Fraser Broom, Sandra, Peter, Mark and Sharon Stuart, his 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, his sister, Mary Walker, his brother, Gordon and Jan Stuart. The funeral is to be held at Good News Gospel Chapel, Goddard Lane, Havelock North, on Saturday 26th June 2021 at 1.00pm. A huge thank you to Dr Beacham and the wonderful staff at Eversley Rest Home for their care of Ernie.

Popa will be with his whãnau at 20 Kawei Road, Ohawe, until the Celebration of Life, to be held at the Hawera AMP Expo Hall, on Saturday 26th June at 11.00am.
