Passed away peacefully on February 8, 2020, at Elms Court Lifecare, Christchurch, aged 91. Dearly loved wife of Ron, loving mother and mother-in-law of Trevor, Marie and Jim, Russell and Brenda, loved grandmother of Luke and Hamish, and loved sister of Betty, May, Joyce, Rita, Jean, Bob, Jim, and Allan. A private cremation has been held.
Of Titahi Bay. Passed away peacefully at Wellington Hospital on Sunday, 16 February 2020, aged 72 years. Dearly loved husband to Materoa. Much loved father and father-in-law to Leah and Richard, Jacque and Paul, Awhina and Herbie, Artie and Laura, Kiri and Hayden. A much loved grandad to his 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Special thanks to friends and family for their support. A celebration of Artie’s life will be held at the Titahi Bay Indoor Bowls Clubrooms (Old Rugby Clubrooms), 1 Onepoto Road, Titahi Bay, on Thursday, 20 February commencing at 11.00am, thereafter private cremation.
Passed away peacefully after a long battle on Thursday 13 February 2020. Dearly loved wife of the late Laurie. Loved mother of Tania (deceased) and Nicola and respected mother-in-law of Kerry and Jason. Loved Narnee of Joshua, Corey, Ben and Alex and loved great-grandmother of Lily. Eileen died peacefully in the care of the loving staff at Ranui Rest Home and Hospital on February 14, 2020. She was 2 weeks short of her 96th birthday. Eileen was the dearly loved daughter of the late John Patrick (Jack) and Eliza Mary O’Brien. Dearly loved sister of the late Joan, and dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of the late Gerald and Elsie O’Brien (Palmerston). Loved and cherished Aunt of Dennis O’Brien (deceased), Barry O’Brien (Surfers Paradise), Gail O’Gorman (Adelaide), Diana and Robert Russell (Mosgiel), and Michael and Trudi O’Brien (McKay). Helen Todd and Melissa Bremner (Dunedin). Loved Great-Aunt of her nieces and nephews children both in NZ and Australia. Loved family friend of Ray and Jennie Swan and family (Ashburton). A celebration of Eileen’s life will be held at St John the Baptist Catholic Church, Alexandra, at 11.00am on Wednesday, February 19, 2020. In lieu of flowers donations can be left at the service for Ranui Rest Home and Hospital or the RSPCA.

Aged 92 years. Passed away after a long illness on 15 February 2020 in Guaruj, Brazil. A long-time serving member of Maranui Surf Club, an outstanding civil engineer, an ex-NZ Consul-General in Brazil, and a generous philanthropist. Brian was a hard man; but a great guy. Remembered by his close friend Norman Bennett.

Tom passed peacefully in his sleep in the early hours of Thursday morning. The celebration of Tom’s life will take place on Thursday 20th February at the Otaki RSA, Raukawa St, Otaki, at 2.00pm, after travelling from his home in Mill Rd to Rangitira St at 1.30pm.
