Peacefully at Nelson Hospital, on 19 October, 2019, aged 85 years. Beloved husband for the last 52 years of Betsy. Loved brother of Eva (Auckland), Mike and Dawn (Riwaka). Dearly loved father of Brent (Australia), Paul and Sandie (Richmond), Amanda and Scott Broker (Ashburton). Cherished grandfather of Samantha, Jasmin, Caitlin, Riley, and Olivia, and great-grandfather of Benson. Peacefully in Tauranga on October 19, 2019, aged 94 years. Formerly of Golden Bay. Loved wife of Eugene (deceased), mother of Michael (deceased), Warwick, and Carol. On Friday, October 18, 2019, at Blenheim. Much loved and cherished husband and mate of Celeste for 67 years. Loved and respected father and father-in-law of Jackie and Brent, Jim and Denise. Loved Grandad to Sam and Devon Copp, Hayden Rudd, and Gemma Webster, and great- grandfather to Scarlett Webster. Also leaving behind special brother David and his wife Jeanette. A celebration of Foster’s life will be held at St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Henry Street, Blenheim, on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 11.30am, followed by interment at Ward Cemetery.

KILGOUR, James Frederick (Tautaka)

Died on October 19, 2019, in Rotorua surrounded by loved ones. Known as Jim to most, a proud, loyal family man, well known in forestry. A keen hunter and fisherman. Jim is survived by his former partner Rosemary, their children Raymond, Abraham and partner Susan, Tamara and husband Jerard. Beloved Koro of Cassiel and husband Adam, Ratema, Abigail and Tanekaha-o-Te-Atua, Chelsea, Connor and Jordan. Also his siblings Sharon, Teresa and Doreen. Whãngai with Robert and Mary to their grandparents. Rest in love with Nana, Grandad, Uncle Graeme, Aunty Gwen and Stace. Jim will be at 105 Homedale St until a service to celebrate his life will be held at St Mary’s Church, 40 Seddon St, Rotorua, at 11am on Tuesday 22nd October. Jim will then return to Te Ahoroa Marae, Rangitoto Rd, Te Kuiti, until the tangi on Wednesday, October 23rd, at 1pm.

Peacefully at Lister Home, Waimate, on October 18, 2019; aged 91. Dearly loved husband of Mabel Isabel (Tui). Loved father and father-in-law of Lana (deceased), Coral (deceased), Dave and Roma, Steve, Brett and Jaqui, Trevor and Lynda, Tui and Gordon, Peter and Tina. Much loved Grandad of Karl, Jimmi, Shannon, Oliver, Elanor, Douglas, Peata, Lana, Gina, Alesha, Ben, and Joshua, and Great-grandad of Matakaea, Awarua, Rauatua, Rakiwhiua, Matangirau, Hazel, Lily, Dean, Robbie, Poppy, Violet, Te Meihana, Manaia, Kye. Loved uncle of all his nephews and nieces. A service celebrating the life of Ray will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 11 John Street, Waimate, on Wednesday, October 23 at 1.00pm, followed by private cremation. Loving husband to Kathleen Barber (deceased). Beloved father of Denise (deceased), Ian, Lindsay and Glenda. Father-in-law of John, Fiona, Cheril and Joe. Adored Grandad of David, Freya (deceased), Melicen, Kurt and Ian. Sadly missed by his surviving brother Ron Barber. Our most grateful thanks to the wonderful staff at Kensington Court, for their tender care of Allan and support of the family, and to Dr Kirsty Stewart and Jenny Kane for their support and exceptional care of Allan. A celebration of the life of Allan Barber will be held at Shone & Shirley Funeral Directors, 164 Tahunanui Drive, Nelson, on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at 11.00am. Passed away at his home on Thursday, October 17, 2019, aged 28 years. A caring, vibrant and much loved son of Ra and Mark, and an adored and proud brother of JordynRose (deceased). A special, courageous and witty grandson of Dolores and the late Sam Hopkinson, and the late Maureen and Cliff Timms. A cherished nephew and cousin.
