HAWKINS, Samuel Weymouth (Sam)

On October 16, 2019. Dad’s final race has been won - the final dash down the last furlong to the home straight was a long one. Loved husband of the late Mildred, loved dad of Jack (Wendy) and her partner Tia, a loved grandad and pop of Shannon (Hosa) and Andy, and great-grandpop to Stevie Autumn. A race day memorial service for Sam, to celebrate his winning post, will be held on Monday, October 21, 2019, at 1.30pm, in the South Otago Town and Country Club, Yarmouth Street, Balclutha. Aged 80 years. Loved wife of the late Colin for 60 years. Deeply loved mother and mother-in-law of Allan and Jayne, Barbara and Warren Beattie, Barry and Diane, Phillip and Susan. Loved sister of Norman Wilkinson. Loved Nana of James, Steven, Joseph, Madelyn, Nicci, Amelia, Hannah and George. DONALDSON, Thomas Edward Louis (Tom)

Passed away peacefully beside his friend, at Kaiapoi Lodge, on Monday, October 14, 2019, the day before his 80th birthday. Father of three children and grandfather. Brother of Brian and Richard. Good friend of a number of people in Kaiapoi. An informal gathering to celebrate Tom, will be held at 297 Ferry Road, on Friday, October 18, 2019, at 2.00pm.

DALE, Margaret Isobel (nee Nind)

(1934 — 2019)
On the evening of October 14, 2019, at Timaru Hospital our wee mum peacefully passed on. Beloved wife of the late HCR (Jim) Dale. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Jill and James Daly (Springbrook), Robyn and Paul Williams (Blenheim), Nicky Stevenson and Duncan O’Keefe (Pegasus). Adored by her grandchildren and their partners Michael and Bianca, Tim and Tatiana, Angus and Lucy, Finn and Harriet, Todd and Bart, Laura and Chelon. Adored and adoring great-grandmother of little James. Loved daughter of Horace and Annie Nind. Sister and sister-in-law of Graeme and Pat Nind, Bryan Nind, and Rae and Les Wilson (all deceased). Loved aunt of Viv and the late Uday Raj and the late Steph Wilson, Liz and Kevin Birch, Barbara Nind, Daphne and Alan Armstrong and David Nind, also her wider family. Passed away peacefully in the loving care of Parata Rest Home, Gore, on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, aged 95 years. Dearly loved daughter of the late James and Mary Waddell, loved sister and sister-in-law of *Josie, *Bill and *Marge Hewitt; *Clare and *Ivan Brass, *Kath, *Val and *Ray O’Brien, *Jim and *Anne Waddell, and cherished Aunty Rona of the Brass, Hewitt, O’Brien and Waddell families. A special thank you to Parata for the wonderful care given to Rona over the years. R.I.P. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Ardwick Street, Gore, on Friday, October 18, 2019, at 10.30am, then leaving for Charlton Park Cemetery. Peacefully in Nelson on October 15, 2019, aged 78 years. Much loved wife of the late Brian. Cherished mother of Phil and Anna, Fiona, Delia and Brent, Nick and Lisa. Loving grandmother of Ryan, Rose, and Becca. Pat was loved by all her friends and family. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Pat at St Mary’s Catholic Church, 18 Manuka Street, Nelson, on Monday, October 21, at 11.00am, followed by interment at Marsden Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul would be appreciated and may be left at the service or posted to PO Box 10-815, Freepost 992, Wellington Central 6011.

Passed away peacefully on Sunday 13th October 2019, aged 96 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Reverend Tony Greaves, and wonderful mother to Antea and Paul and their families. Beloved husband of Janet for 65 years, brother to the late Norman, Ian, Alistair, and Sheila. Loved Dad of Alison, Kenneth, Heather and Douglas, and father-in-law to Rob, Margo and Kate. Loved Grandad to Ben, Kate, Hannah, Esther, Joshua, Alex, Charlotte and Ella . Died in Auckland after a short illness.

Passed away peacefully at Waikato Hospital on Monday 14 October 2019, aged 88. Dearly cherished wife of the late Allen, Keith Clifford (dec) and Rex Alley (dec). Much loved Mum and mother-in-law of Beverley (dec), Bruce & Clara (dec), Judith & Gary, Katherine & Ron, Murray & Anita, Maureen & Michael, and Alison & Warren. An amazing grandma and great-grandma of many. In preference to flowers a donation may be made to St John Ambulance and left at the service. All message to the Middleton Family, c/- P.O. The tragic loss of Jasmine on October 14, 2019, will be felt by all those who knew her. Treasured mum of Lily, deeply loved partner of John and his daughter Melina, cherished daughter of Raymond (dec) and Mavis, beloved sister of Karen, Greg (dec), and Brendan, sister-in-law of Shane, and Cara, loving aunty to Cristabel and Max, much loved by Brent and Soraya. As a cousin and niece to her extended family, Jasmine was a shining light and brought so much joy to all, including her wide community of friends and colleagues.
