Designed for life in Tawa
Tawa’s a top place to live, but the hills are steep and getting around isn’t always easy…until now.
Tawa On Demand has launched. It’s a pilot service where you book, pay and ride via an app. Most residents can expect to be picked up within 50m of a virtual stop. There are four 17-seat vans. Each van can carry one wheelchair operating between 6:30am and 7.30pm Mondays to Fridays, and 8:30am to 9:30pm on Saturdays.
See website for peak and off-peak service details. Whether you’re going to the train, bus, shops, doctors or the bakery, Tawa On Demand gets you.
