Our speakers will be Emma-Jean Kelly and Maureen O’Sullivan, talking about their Irish ancestors James O’Grady and Mary Lane Ambrose, who both died in mental institutions.
We will be celebrating 20 years of the LNI Irish Interest Group with an Irish-themed cake! Registration, tea and coffee from 10am with the AGM starting at 10.30am.
If you'd like to join our committee, or want to nominate someone else, you can email the completed Nomination form to Irish.LowerNISIG@genealogy.org.nz or bring it along to the AGM. We'd love some new committee members - we usually have around 4 meetings a year in Johnsonville.
Join us for a presentation from Dublin based genealogist Claire Bradley (via zoom) and an in-person workshop, Building a Research Plan for your Irish ancestors, with Maggie Gaffney and committee members. Library resources will be available.
