A new bill supported by both major parties strips red tape from the building process in an effort to accelerate medium-density housing.
The rule change will allow people to build up to three homes of three storeys on most sites in Wellington without any need for resource consent from August 2022.

Kia ora Northern Ward, Neighbours Day Aotearoa 2022 will be encouraging people to connect through kai. This could be sharing a cuppa, fresh produce, a recipe or hosting a picnic or BBQ.

We thought we would kick things off now by encouraging people to share a favourite recipe.

This could be a whānau favourite, your aunty’s special chutney, a secret (or potentially not!) curry dish, or your most-loved cake.

We’ll then share your recipe throughout the land for people to try, share, and enjoy within their communities.

Either email your recipe to kiaora@neighboursday.org.nz or submit it here - www.neighboursday.org.nz...

The timer sounds when this button is pushed. Push a button for one cooking element and it glows red, place a pot on top and you hear food boiling. Repeat the process for the other element button and you can hear food frying in the pan.

Everything has been washed and cleaned. The extras include a pop up toaster and metal pots and muffin pan.

1.8m Christmas tree

Hayden from Johnsonville

This Christmas tree is in good condition with no visible wear and tear. It has been in storage for a while so it has a slight plastic smell that isn’t strong and would go with a day or two airing out.
Still has the original box (as pictured)

Price: $30

3-seater plus New York apartment couch.

Bought this off TradeMe about 15 years ago, from someone who had used it in their apartment in New York!!

It was originally white, but they re-covered it in red. As you can see from the photos, the red covers are worn now, and the white ones have a few small stains. We had a small rug over the end, covering the hole in the red cover.

220cm long, 75cm high (plus the cushions) and 100cm deep. All the cushion covers are removable for washing. The overall cover has shrunk after washing.

But – it's very comfortable! We've had almost the whole family on this, watching movies :-) It has lasted very well, is sturdy and strong and good quality. I'm sad to see it go, but the wife has bought a new one.

Pickup from Tawa, but I would consider delivering it, if I can fit it in my van, and it's not too far away.
