Just rec'd this email: "You are part of Group 3 for the COVID-19 vaccine rollout. This means you’ll be contacted soon with an invitation to book your vaccination appointment." Just wish the message had come sooner to lessen my anxiety about whether I was on the list or not.
It goes on: "Group 3 is a large group so vaccinations will take place over several months." Hardly sounds like the Govt promise on priority is being met.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
