Whitby Playground - Discovery Drive - Photo's

Geoff from Aotea

Before the Nishio Japanese Garden came into being near Pullen Lane there was a playground that was built by the Jaycee's in the mid 1970's.
As one of the Jaycee members who helped build that early playground I'm seeking any photographs of it. If anybody has any such photo's I'd be delighted to see them and perhaps obtain a copy.

What's your preferred peanut butter?

Katie Townshend Reporter from Dominion Post

Premium and alternative nut butters - like Wellington's Fix and Fogg - have some of the highest sales growth at supermarkets nationwide. Have you made the switch to more artisan brands, or would you rather stay with the tried and true?

Have you run out of things for the kids to do?

Rod from Hive World Honey

Get them in the kitchen to make Honey Bubble.
I remember making this when I was a child - lots of fun.
Ingredients.
125 grams butter
125 grams sugar
2 heaped table spoons of honey
4 cups rice bubbles
In a large pan gently heat butter, sugar and honey. Stir so it doesn't stick to the bottom and burn. Heat until boiling and boil for 4 minutes
Remove from the heat and add rice bubbles and mix well. Pour into a lined slice pan or use cupcake cases and put in the fridge to cool
Once cooled, cut slices to desired size.
ENJOY.

Where are you renting?

Katie Townshend Reporter from Dominion Post

Trade Me's latest figures show Wellington's median rent has topped $600 for the first time. But if you go further afield it's not much better, with the region sitting at $580, and areas like Upper Hutt, Porirua and Kāpiti Coast seeing huge increases in inquiries. Where are you choosing to rent these days?
