Tawa Lions Saturday Market
This coming Saturday 16 June the Tawa Lions Market at Outlet City will be open from 9am to 2pm, featuring our regular Fruit and Vegetable vendor along with our own stall with eggs and honey. Saturday's weather forecast is looking good so we expect a good turnout of other stalls plus our Lions used book stall will be out for your perusal.
This week we have Honey and egg news. We continue our free tasting of Waireka Rewarewa honey. We also have just one pot of Watson's certified Manuka honey. We have our usual range of Helen's creamed honey - Meadow, Bush and Manuka/Bush and we have some stocks of liquid (runny) honey - Bush and Meadow."
Tawa Lions gratefully acknowledges the support of Outlet City in providing the venue for our Market.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
