Labour Weekend

Rod from Hive World Honey

Hive World will be closed on Monday the 24th, however our bees will still be working and if its fine will be out collecting nectar to make into honey. Yum.
The queen bee will be starting to ramp up her laying as nectar comes in to feed the emerging bees. She can lay up to 1500 eggs a day! Can you spot her in the photo?

Call in and do a free tasting of our six different varieties.
16 Wall Place Porirua open Monday to Friday.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
