Hornby Toy Library needs some help.
The Hornby Toy Library is a not for profit organisation which hires toys to members. We are located at the old Sockburn school on Springs Road. We urgently need some volunteers to help check off toys. We are open 5.30 to 7pm on Thursdays and 9.30 till 12 on Saturdays. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
