Hi neighbours,

On Tuesday night, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced there were four new Covid-19 cases in the community.

Auckland moved into level 3 at midday on Wednesday, and the rest of the country into level 2.

Kiwis outside of Auckland can still continue to go to work and school, with physical distancing, and are advised to wear masks in public.

Businesses can open to the public if they are following public health guidance, which includes physical distancing and record keeping.

In terms of gatherings, New Zealanders must not travel to events with more than 100 people. This includes weddings, birthdays, funerals and tangihanga.

The Government advises all Kiwis to practise good hygiene and stay home if sick.

We can and will still run our community morning on this Friday morning (14 August) and plan for exercise and hot drinks to happen. However there are some things you will need to remember:
* any symptoms of sore throat, cough, runny nose, fever, anything respiratory .... please stay home. Ring the COVID health line or your GP
* think about your own health & immune system. If you have compromised immunity then consider what is wise and best serves your well being. You may want to talk with your family.
* please make sure you sign in to our building to facilitate contact tracing and use our sanitiser (located in many places)
* maintain good hygiene; frequent hand washing, sanitiser, coughing & sneezing into elbow, social distancing
* we will have social distancing guidelines in exercise (2 mtrs) and in the cafe (1 mtr, 2 only at a table, table service not self serve)
* bring a full water bottle because the water cooler will not be available
