Keen to spread restorative mindfulness - Tomorrow 1pm Meadowbank

Eve from Eve Rudkin Mindfulness

Hi Neighbours, I have just been away on a mindfulness retreat and I am really keen to introduce others to the peace-of-mind that can be accessed through mindfulness practice.

Come and try it with a small group for a gentle mindfulness session tomorrow. I am fully vaccinated, and I am running it safely with careful social distancing, good ventilation, masked until seated. Meadowbank Community Centre on Tuesday 1 - 2.15pm. Bookings essential. Contact me or see the events page here on Neighbourly. Koha welcome. Ongoing first Tuesday of the month.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
