Since graduation MJ has worked in Australia, within the rural and coastal communities of The Northern Rivers Territory where she has served geriatric, paediatric and high-risk periodontal patients as well as orthodontic treatments with Light Force Braces and Invisalign.
MJ's clinical interests lie in periodontology, where she focuses on a holistic approach to patient management and treatments. She is passionate about empowering her patients with knowledge and tools to improve and maintain their oral health. Our suburban general dental practice is looking for a Dental Assistant. We are looking for someone who can create a fantastic first impression for clients in a friendly yet professional manner. Your communication must be excellent and you will be able to build a relationship with patients and other staff. Job descriptions include chairside assisting, sterilisation, other dental assisting duties, cleaning; greeting customers, making appointments etc.
Hours: 35-40 per week including early morning and late night. No Weekend and half day on Friday.
A valid NZ Work Permit or Permanent NZ residency is required.
Full training will be provided for the successful applicant.

Full time
We are a suburban dental practice seeking a Dental Receptionist/Assistant. We need someone who can make a great first impression on clients, being friendly yet professional. Good communication skills are a must, as you will be building relationships with patients and colleagues. Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential. Familiarity with MS Office (Word and Excel) and Outlook is required.
Your responsibilities will include chairside assisting, sterilization, other dental assisting duties, cleaning, greeting customers, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, accepting payments, and other reception and administrative tasks.
The working hours are 38-42 per week, which may include early mornings and late nights. Weekends are not required.
Applicants must have a valid NZ Work Permit or Permanent NZ residency.
Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
