KAKA
On Thursday 24th of June I photographed a KAKA feeding in our Garden in Churton Drive.
In 73 years of living in Wellington, I have never seen one of these beautiful parrots roaming wild in my city.
Just blew me away.
We have a Tui feeder and this attracts about 10 individuals a day to have a feed.
Keep your eyes open in the garden, you might get a surprise like I did?

I dance in the sky with green and gold, a spectacle few are lucky to behold; I’m best seen in the south, a celestial sight—what am I, lighting up the New Zealand night?
