Spring into tawa... still desperately need volunteers

Tracey from Tawa

Would you like to be part of the awesome #SpringintoTawa2020? We're looking for volunteers to help us put on this cool event on Saturday 17 October.

We've got a range of tasks and shifts - you can volunteer as little or as much as you like!

Please complete this Google Form by clicking the link forms.gle...

and let us know how you can help us!

We need people to help with set up in the morning, managing some of the kids activities (Bouncy Castle etc), managing the Band Stage, helping us on our zero waste journey by advising at the waste stations, general tasks during the event, and in the packing up

Poll: Would you participate in local initiatives aimed at stopping plastic from reaching our oceans?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Volunteers will be scouring the foreshore, riverbanks, and islands for rubbish on Saturday the 13th as part of the Clean Up the Hutt event.

This initiative helps stop plastic from reaching our oceans and makes our waterways cleaner and safer for everyone.

We want to know: Should this be rolled out across all coastal cities in Aotearoa? And more importantly… would you get involved? 💚

Want the details? The Post has you covered.
