I used The Mat shop in Porirua - very economical

Phill from Johnsonville

I stumbled on this place "The Mat Shop" and met Grame Pledger the owner. The shop is quirky, and he's not your typical "sales person" but there is TRUCKLOADS of different carpet in there and you can just pick the bits you want. Nothing was too much trouble. He even does the over-locking round the edges in the shop - lots of other places make you wait while they send it away. I would definitely go here again. He can make mats of any shape and pretty much any size. You can even bring your own carpet in if you want - but I'd check out his first. He has some ready made mats too. So cheap!!!
