Interesting Bee Facts
As you probably realize by now, I am passionate about bees.
Here are some interesting bee facts.
Every worker bee (females) have a particular job to do depending on her age.
When they hatch their first job is to keep the hive clean.
Next they progress to feeding the larvae and attending the queen.
Then they are responsible for taking the nectar and pollen that has been gathered and put it into the honeycomb.
Next they move on to producing beeswax for making the comb.
Then they have the important job of guarding the hive from intruders
Finally they get to be foragers, collecting nectar and pollen, also water. They will do this until they are worn out and their wing are in tatters (about 6 weeks in summer)
