Free printers
Two Brother printers – free to anyone who wants to try getting them going again. I will include whatever cartridge/drum is currently in the printers – I have no idea how much toner is left in them!
HL-3150CDN – colour laser printer.
– double-siding chews up the paper
– tray full of coloured waste powder underneath, which has caused coloured powder to permeate the printer
– USB plug on the back has been pushed into the printer
MFC-L2700DW – B&W laser copier/printer
– was dropped when a trestle table collapsed, and now gives an error message, and no longer works

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
