They will increase parking charges and the time that you can be charged (e.g. evenings), they will make you pay for parking where your kids play sports, near recreational activities, parks trails, etc. Have your say, read the policy before it is too late. We will no longer have a vibrant CBD because people will shop and dine in Petone and LowerHutt.
They will even give themselves the authority to charge parking on streets in the suburbs like Tawa, Johnsonville, etc

It's very low key, and at the moment, we just pick up a bag of books from Porirua library -WHICH IS OPEN AGAIN HOORAY! - and we all read the same book, have a chat about it the following week, and have some nibbles. A different member hosts it each week. That's us.
