Linley from Tawa

Hi Neighbours!
Can anyone inform me as to what the loud machinery noise is at night that has been happening the last few months? I don’t recall a notice. Tonight it is so bad that I can’t even sleep in my lounge! Anyone fill me in can be heard LOUDLY IN TAYLOR TERRACE.

We are happy to confirm that our contractors are feeling better and glass collections will start again on Monday 18 April.

We know there will be a bit of a backlog, but we ask that you please only put your glass out in official Council crates, and put it out in stages so that we don't overwhelm the processing plant.

You can still drop your glass off for free at the Recycling Centre at the Southern Landfill.

Co-mingled recycling in bags and wheelie bins is still being collected and recycled as normal.

Thank you all for your patience, kindness and empathy during this time. It is greatly appreciated by us and our contractors.
