Wastewater treatment plant update
The inlet pump station works are continuing with the clarifier having been drained in preparation for the next stage - you can read more information at the link below.
They do note that there may be odours due to the works - if you notice anything please let Wellington Water or the Council know so they can track any issues.
FREE 10-liter emergency water bottles

I have around twenty, empty 10-liter distilled water bottles to serve as emergency water storage. I saved them for my friends, but they already have their own water supplies. Take as many as you like. Please respond to this notice if you are interested.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
