Rotary and Life Flight Wellington

Michael from Tawa

Rotary Tawa had the pleasure of visiting Life Flight Wellington earlier this week—and what an inspiring experience it was!

Together with Rotary Karori and other clubs from across Wellington, we got a firsthand look at the incredible, lifesaving work the Life Flight crew does every day.

Did you know that Rotary was one of Life Flight’s early supporters?
In early 2023, the Rotary District 9940 Children’s Health Trust began discussions with the Life Flight Trust about how we could support their mission. That conversation led to a bold commitment: Rotary would raise $303,000 to help fund their vital work.

2 years in, and thanks to the generosity of many people and the dedication of clubs across our district, we’re proud to say that we’re already one-third of the way there!

This is a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together for a cause that truly matters. Let’s keep the momentum going!
