It is free entry to come in and look around our gallery and see what creative … View moreThe Hobby Lounge Creative Studio is holding a pop up market on Saturday the 29th of July from 9.30am to 3pm. This is the last day we will be open at 210 Main Road Tawa and are celebrating our time there with this event. It is free entry to come in and look around our gallery and see what creative goodies there is to buy. If you would like a spot to sell handmade goods then please let us know either below or through our FB page. Tables are a $5 minimum donation.

We have recently opened up a non profit community creative space in Tawa where people can come in and work on projects in a creative atmosphere, host group activities, display their work in the gallery and meet people with similar interests.

We have recently opened up a non profit community creative space in Tawa where people can come in and work on projects in a creative atmosphere, host group activities, display their work in the gallery and meet people with similar interests.
We want to try make our current space as inviting and welcoming as possible. We want to take this opportunity to make the site a more vibrant place. To do this we need help.
We also would like people or groups that are interested in using the space on a regular basis to get in touch with us and tell us when they would plan to pop in and what that would like to do. (please note the site is only a temporary pop up site till the end of July but if we can get enough people involved finding and setting up a more permanent site will be easier)
Please if you or anyone you know can help with anything on the following list please get in touch with us.
List:
Tables and chairs
Art work or things you have made you want to show off
Sewing machines or over-lockers or other sewing gear
Un-used fabric for people to use
Craft gear or supply's you don't use anymore
Comfy couches or bean bags
Old table top/diorama gear like models and mini characters (for people to mess around with for photos or table top gaming)
Things to help the entrance look more inviting and bright and friendly
