Missing Cat
My neighbour's cat hasn't been home since Saturday 27 September, so with his permission, I'm sharing the details here.
Missing Johnsonville cat. Kimball Place and Branscombe St area, possibly Lenox Grove. He also has access to Ōhariu Road via the back yard.
Answers to the name Sterling, and a high-pitched chirping/purring sound.
Please check garages and sheds that may have been open on Saturday (last day he was home) as he's a nosey bugger and may have snuck in when no one was looking and got trapped in there.

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
We want to know: Should mining projects like this move ahead?
