Kerbside recycling for Wellington won't resume until we move to Alert Level 2
There has been a lot of comment/queries published on Neighbourly (and elsewhere) as to when kerbside recycling collection will resume. From the Council's latest "This Week in Wellington" e-newsletter kerbside recycling collection only resumes when we are at Alert Level 2.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
