For the first time I saw that on my mobile account a warning was posted that if I did not pay (or they did not recieve payment) by due day a penalty payment would be incurred. Fair enought until I saw the penalty was $17.25 - almost the same as my monthly debt - $19.07. How can this be justified - normally overdues are penalised at 10-20%. Does this company really want patronage or are they trying to get out of the business in NZ?

There is a high demand for more engagement and consultation with community groups, and in general more engagement with the general public.
There were a number of people and groups looking for a more collaborative approach
GWRC should act as more of a facilitator rather than the practitioner, and assist in the coordination of community groups more. We should work with and support community groups.
We need to balance the wants of recreational hunters with the undertaking of pest control, and utilise these groups more.
We'll now go off and do some writing and come back to you with a draft early next year.
Many thanks,
