Faded away slowly on Tuesday 13 December 2022, aged 72, at home in Te Awamutu, after his courageous battle. Devoted and loving partner and companion of Sandra, and caring step-father of Hadlee Shelton. Much cherished father and father-in-law of Jodie Mahutte and Lochiel Kay, and Sanne Mahutte. Loving and caring Opa of all his beautiful Mahutte/Shelton grandchildren. Also loved brother of Geert Benckhuisen of Den Bosch, The Netherlands, who will be so close to our hearts at this time.

Passed away at Te Nikau Grey Hospital surrounded by his loving family on December 13, 2022, aged 96. EADY, Gerald Austin (Gerry)
Passed away on 4 December 2022 in Stokeswood Care Home with family beside him. He was born 25 October 1929 in Hampstead, London, to Frank and Adelaide Mary Eady. A long serving trade unionist he strived to improve the working conditions of people in the United Kingdom and New Zealand. He also volunteered for many community initiatives, particularly in Wainuiomata. He is survived but not forgotten by his four children, Margaret, Katie, Adam and Jason, partners, and grandchildren Liberty, Quinn, Alex, Lily, Leo and Jesse. A memorial service will be announced in the new year.
