Death

Passed away at Te Nikau Grey Hospital surrounded by his loving family on December 13, 2022, aged 96. Loved husband of the late Nola, loved father and father-in-law of Peter and Chris, Brian and Jenny, Brenda and Arthur Burgess, Russell, and Paulette Arnold, loved ‘Poppy’ of Dylan, Yolanda, Catherine, Sarah, Simon, Sarah, Renee, Jason, Alex, Bianca, Joel, and Holly, precious ‘Poppy’ of all his great-grandchildren, loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Jack and Jan, and Len and Betty, loved brother-in-law of Claire and Fred (deceased), and Triss (deceased) and Ted, a cherished uncle, cousin, and a friend of many.
He will be missed by all
and fondly remembered.
Messages to 18 Bridge Street, Greymouth 7805. As per Ray’s wishes, a cremation has taken place here on the Coast at the Westland Crematorium. A Memorial Service will be held in the New Year at a date to be advised.
