On 13th December 2022 passed at home surrounded by her family, after a long battle with cancer. Jean was the beloved wife of Brian for almost 45 years. Cherished mother of Trevor & Amy, Kathryn & Mike, Cara & Ross, Lisa & Rob, and Kerry. An amazing grandmother to Olivia & Caleb, Tommy & Devin, Makai, Madison & Victoria and Alex & Kacey. Jean was sister to Bruce & Rose, Christine & John. Special thanks to Te Omanga Hospice for their support of Jean and her family. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Keir, Neil and Alexandra, loved grandad of all his grandchildren, nieces and nephews, late sister Denise and brother-in-law David, best friend of Brian, Krishna, Peter, Humphrey and dog Pepper. Thank you to the medical team at Christchurch Hospital. Beth would like to thank all of her work colleagues and friends for their lovely support. As were Bruce’s wishes, a private cremation has been held, with a celebration of his life to take place at a later date.
