SHANKS, Marilyn Joy (nee Cook)
Peacefully at home on Monday, December 12, 2022. Loving wife of Colin. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Glen and Elisabeth, and Jason*. Nan of Katelyn, and Hayden; daughter of Hec*, and Vi. Sister, aunty and friend to many. A service to celebrate Marilyn’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Friday, December 16 at 10.00am. Interment at the Balclutha Lawn Cemetery to follow, arriving approx 1.30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Southland would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
