Of Speldhurst, Levin. For merly of Stoney Creek Jerseys. On Sunday 11 December 2022 at his home, peacefully, with his wife and niece (Bron). Very loved husband of Janet (Christie) and treasured uncle to his many nephews and nieces. In his 91st year after a battle with cancer. Special thanks to the district nurses and Arohanui Hospice staff. As per Graham’s wishes, he has been cremated and a private memorial has been held. In lieu of flowers, donations to Arohanui Hospice, PO Box 5349, Palmerston North 4441, would be appreciated.

Born December 18, 1933. Passed away on December 13, 2022. Loved husband of the late Irene, much loved father and father-in-law of Faye and Neil, Gary and Kate, Tracy and Mike. Dearly loved by 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter. According to Neils wishes a memorial celebration of his life will be held at Matamata Club on January 14, 2023 at 2.00pm, all welcome.

Peacefully on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, in Dunstan Hospital, Clyde, after a short illness. Aged 79 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Chris, and loved father and father-in-law to Tania and Geoff Barnett (Russell), Janine and Dave McKenzie (Alexandra), Donna (Roxburgh), Tony and Rebecca (Dunedin), Joanne (Alexandra), Bronwyn and Josh Kronfeld (Auckland), and Sarah and Warren Alcock (Dunedin). Beloved Grandad and Poppa to his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A loved brother of Brian and Miriam Illingworth, and Jenny Williams. Loved uncle of his nieces and nephews. At Herbie’s request, a private family cremation has taken place. A celebration of Herbie’s life will be held on a later date. It is with great sadness we advise that Roya passed away at Nelson Hospital on December 14, 2022, aged 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Fulvio, cherished mother and mother-in-law of Gino (deceased), Amelia and Stephen, Diana and Geoff, and a wonderful and adored Grandma to Caitlin and Jessica. A special thank you to the staff at The Wood and the doctors and nurses of the ATR Ward, Nelson Hospital for their caring support. A Rosary will be held for Roya at 7.00pm on Friday, December 16 at St Mary’s, Manuka St, Nelson. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at St Mary’s on Saturday, December 17 at 11.00am. Passed away Tuesday 13th December 2022 surrounded by family in Masterton. Born 1929 she was 93 years old. Rona was the cherished partner and wife of Arthur (deceased) for 61 years. Mother of Christine, Judith, and Murray and mother-in-law of Phillip, Matthew, and Robyn. She lived for her family and was the much-loved grandmother of Brett & Catherine, Larna, Jenna & Justin, Hamish, Christopher & Mel, Megan & Matt, Mark & Kirsten, Sarah & Troy, Shannon & Fiona, and the Great-Grandmother of 19. She is the last of her generation of the Simonsen family and is survived by one brother, Max, on the Henderson side. Special thanks to Lyndale Rest Home and Lansdowne Court for their excellent care and attention of Rona in her last year.
