DE LORENZO, Roya Lucy (nee Ricketts)
It is with great sadness we advise that Roya passed away at Nelson Hospital on December 14, 2022, aged 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Fulvio, cherished mother and mother-in-law of Gino (deceased), Amelia and Stephen, Diana and Geoff, and a wonderful and adored Grandma to Caitlin and Jessica. A special thank you to the staff at The Wood and the doctors and nurses of the ATR Ward, Nelson Hospital for their caring support. A Rosary will be held for Roya at 7.00pm on Friday, December 16 at St Mary’s, Manuka St, Nelson. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at St Mary’s on Saturday, December 17 at 11.00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St John’s New Zealand which can be made at the service. Messages to the De Lorenzo Family, c/- 41 Nile Street, Nelson.
