Passed away peacefully on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Lister Home Waimate; in his 91st year. Dearly loved husband of the late Nora Smith. Cherished father and father in-law of Sue and Stu Hunter, Gillian (Gill) Smith and Graham Farnell, Janet McGrath and Murray Davies, and Bill and Fiona Hester-Smith. Much treasured grandad and great-grandad to all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Grateful thanks to the staff at Lister Home for the wonderful care given during his time there. Thanks also to his special friends that gave comfort in his final years. Respected Nana (Evie) of Mark and Brent; Tania, Fred and Kelly, Nathan; Oliva and Kurt, and a loved great-grandmother.
