DAY, Michael Francis (Mick)

Peacefully at Timaru Hospital on Friday, January 6, 2023; aged 73 years. Dearly loved husband of Colleen. Much loved father and father-in-law of Brett and Selina, Mel and Phil Westerby, Bridget, Karl, and Tracy and Anthony McHaffie. Much loved grandad and great-grandad of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loved eldest son of Elsie and Michael (both deceased). Loved brother and brother-in-law of Graeme (dec), Kevin (dec) and Sue, Elaine, and Percy (dec). Loved and respected brother-in-law of Pat and Deborah Fahey, Linda and Wayne Doyle, Jill, and the late Lindsay Liddington, Lisa Fahey and partner Mel. Loved and respected by his extended family. A service to celebrate Mick’s life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 11.00am, followed by private burial.
