If you want them at the market please come by to grab a few avos and a punnet of strawbs! It applies to all the stalls but particularly the produce ones - if they dont have a good day we cant get them back! Lots of work for these growers to get their produce to market and there is waste and loss if it doesn't sell. Please come by to support 'em if you want them!

If you are one of the houses effected by lack of internet in our area please note that we have just had a chat with the technicians who came to visit. They have only come to assess the issue and they have had no idea about the issue till today. The issue will keep extending because our providers have not communicated this issue with the main provider -chorus. This issue can go on for a while if we don’t put pressure on our providers whose management will then need to get in touch with the technicians to fix it. It’s very frustrating but looks like our calls are going into thin air and we will need the support of everyone effected to get this sorted.

After retiring she decided that she would spend some of her spare time volunteering when she saw the Amitabha Hospice advertisement needing volunteers to help people in their community.
Having completed the training course, attending weekly evening classes for 6 weeks, Anne now visits two Amitabha Hospice patients every week, spending a few hours chatting and helping them in many ways. She considers them both friends rather than her patients and says the ‘best aspect of volunteering is the friendship that is established - always people.’

This long-standing project got the green light in May 2019. The change rooms at Grey Lynn Park were due for an upgrade including the development of new change rooms and toilets and the demolition of the old athletics building. Our local board provided direction to the concept design which was consulted on with the Richmond Rovers Rugby League Club
