Join me at 7pm every Thursday evening at Kohimarama Yacht Club with the sound of the waves and a view to melt the day away and get you ready for the weekend. We do one half yoga lesson, and one half guided lay-down meditation, proven to help with sleep and stress.
All are welcome regardless of ability, body shape, gender, age or outfit :)
Bring your mat, blanket and pillow (a few available, first come first served) and $15.
The yoga is about how you move, breathe and feel -- not how you look. No experience is necessary. Expect to take home practical tips to go about your day more aware and relaxed.
(Saturdays we do beach yoga right on Kohi beach just across from the Cafe on Kohi, without the extra long meditation at the end.)

The teachers will all be there to greet you, this is a child and family friendly service. We will have a 'mat time' area with activities and equipment for children. The children will be singing two of our favourite songs with the teachers and alumni (we have been practising every morning in the church!) - as well as Happy Birthday! Our birthday cake will be cut during the service. The kindergarten will then be open from 10.45-1.00pm with face painting, morning tea, sausage sizzle, cake and refreshments. We look forward to seeing all our families and alumni on Sunday.

This week, visitors to the Museum will get their first opportunity to immerse themselves in some of the most vibrant, fascinating images collected this year of the vast and varied nature of life on Earth. The Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition is the world’s most prestigious international nature photography exhibition, direct from London's Natural History Museum.
The longest-running nature photography exhibition in the world, it is known for inspiring curiosity and wonder, while also reminding us of the fragility of our planet and our responsibility to protect it.
Among those featured is the work of 14-year-old Aucklander, Cruz Erdmann, who won the title of Young Wildlife Photographer of the Year for his snap of a bigfin squid illuminating the inky blackness of the ocean.
Don't miss your chance to see up close the images that have got the whole world talking. The Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition is free with Museum entry.
