Foundered in 1993 by Ian and Mary Grant, the Parenting Place supports family to thrive. They're a leader in babysitting workshops and will prepare your teen to become a capable, trusted and in-demand babysitter.
COURSE CONTENT
1). The Babysitter That Gets Booked – Joy Sluiters
Joy will cover everything you need to know to become a safe, reliable and fun babysitter that every parent will trust and want to book again. There will be plenty of practical advice about how to establish your business, ideas for creating a great first impression, and how to handle safety issues in someone else’s home. The workshop will also cover useful information about children and their developmental needs, ideas for play, and how to communicate well with parents.
2). First Aid For Babysitters- Sarah Thompson
Sarah will deliver a concise first aid course specifically designed for babysitters, covering child safety and accident prevention, life-saving techniques and emergency first aid.
