Independent home DIY paving, fruit trees & vegetables garden, and the relevant tasks - Qiubo David Su

Hi Neighbourly,

(update - spent a few days to independently plan, organize, schedule, research for the fruit trees and vegetables garden under way, this is worthwhile to be in the right track and the long term good result)

(update - at the stage to do a lot of research on the vegetables garden now, as it needs to relocate some soil/dirty from the ground of the new paving section (there is a lot of clay to keep for the strong foundation of the paving section) to the vegetables garden area. there are a lot of details, agriculture science knowledge to acquire, plannings and schedules to determine, purchasing and testings to organize ...... But this won't take too long, as these can be multi-tasked with the other garden tasks simultaneously, e.g. the paving tasks, concrete footpath & driveway repairs task, fence repair and painting tasks ...... New Zealand has been considered as an agriculture country, to acquire some knowledge, experiences, skills via operating and maintaining a section of vegetables garden in my property area makes me more adaptable to the LOCAL, but ironically I have been independently implementing all these tasks by myself alone :-) )

(update - after getting the garden paving, vegetables yard etc tasks done, i will come back to carry on the ICT Tech tasks, e.g. VOIP, Cloud Computing, Ebikes, Smart Battery Management System (as always I will do all these tasks independently by myself alone). at the next Xmas & New Year holiday period in a couple of years later, i will start another already planned home DIY improvement/innovation task and this is my own "Xmas & New Year" holiday. the condition and look of my property becomes better and better, more and more valuable, the rental prices will be increased accordingly)

(update - I will take the chance to finally convert the section of the garden area next to this new paving area to vegetable garden which I prepared and planed to do in about 3 years ago. This is a default task I will certainly do during this Xmas & New Year period, no need to emphasize too much. I had already investigated with City Council and some gardeners/landscapers a few years ago, that this section of garden area has no problem to be converted to vegetables garden. The land value of my property is very likely to be over 1 million at this 2020 property valuation, why to waste the land, not to make it more useful)

(update again - by repaired/renewed the timber retaining wall for that section of grass garden, I have handson experience of retaining wall, and this makes me more confirmatively judge that the condition of the concrete blocks retaining wall along the downstairs small and large bedrooms of my property and its storm water drainage system are good, the end of March 2017 case of the water on the carpet in the downstairs large bedroom was definitely due to the downstairs South Africa flat mates Chris & Erica willfully poured a lot of water there then, not due to the harsh rainstorm or plumbing system problem. the upstairs Iran flat mates Hadi & Reza, Czech Republic flat mates Tomas & Veronica conspired together with them for this evil act, including some neighbors and some property sales agents, e.g. from Barfoot & Thompson nearby
. They are not good at technology, engineering. it is a shame for them to work on the property, building and construction industry.

at Xmas 2016 & New Year 2017, I alone independently transferred two very small pieces of grass garden (only need to dig out the underground dirt for about 0.15 - 0.2 meter deep) along the 1+ meter retaining wall of the downstairs small and large bedrooms to paving area, and this makes things better, i.e. the storm water can be released faster, makes the retaining wall less damp in the raining season. however this great independent paving task implemented by myself alone makes these evil people embarrassed, so they conspired together and Chris & Erica made this evil water case, to insult me and my property that the paving task I did isn't in good quality and that retaining wall condition of my property isn't good, however that fact is in the opposite.

as said, when I started another paving task (a lot more spacious than previous one) during this Xmas 2019 & New Year 2020, I asked some gardeners, landscapers in Newspaper over the phone for some questions, and this is a very small part of my research process, however I could tell that some of them provided me misleading information, but I can synthesize the useful information at the end, knowing what I should listen to, what I should ignore.

anyway my property has been in good condition, the home DIY tasks I did by myself are great, my property becomes more and more valuable. don't trust those evil people who intentionally spread rumors to defame me and my property, ignore them all)

(update again - I don't have to inform Neighbourly of the noise generated when I independently implement the paving task in my garden, as I do this task during the day, not too early in the morning or at night. this sort of noise likes that from the sky when airplane flying over the roof, like that when the neighbours doing their lawn in their garden, when they use the chainsaws, hammer and nails for their home DIY tasks. for the paving task it actually needs to use the power tool to cut the pavers at the end to nicely fit the paving area, e.g. when I implemented the paving task along the driveway for bike track and footpath, I used the power tool almost at the last day. for this paving task in another section of the grass garden, the cutting power tool will be used almost at the end also. sorry to inform you of this so early, but you don't have to wait for this noise to come.

I get up very early at the morning and go to bed very late at the night, and work through the whole day, so to get all the jobs done quickly. but sometimes when happening to the new issues/tasks haven't encountered to me before (I'm so excited when coming to the tasks very challenged and haven't done before. through the implementation processes (as my property value can be increased accordingly, the environment and look of my property becomes nicer, I can rent out the bedrooms for more rent, I can acquire more new skills & experiences and becomes a better home DIY handy-man), I always mentally and physically become tougher and stronger each time. the innovation "muscle" becomes stronger and the confidence boosts to a new high level and expecting the next more difficult and challenged new task to come) and not in my schedule, e.g. the just repaired retaining wall and its storm water drainage system for this section of the grass garden, I need to do a lot of research and preparation in my home office, then start to go to the garden to carry on when I got all the details sorted.

Paving task is a systematic task, not just laying the pavers on the ground, e.g. if not taking the chance to now repair/renew the very aged retaining wall and its storm water drainage system of this section of the grass garden before paving, then the quality of the paving result won't be good, to repair/renew it now, it only takes me about 2 days or so and it can last for another lifecycle 20+ years, if when this very aged retaining wall eventually fails in a couple of years later after this section of grass garden being converted to paving area, then it will cost a lot more of time and money to repair/renew it.

I'm the sole owner of this property, this is my own property, I know what I should do for the best interests of myself.

Sorry for informing you of this another paving task so early, but you don't have to wait for the noise to come (a few more home DIY Xmas & New Year projects are already in my mind for the next a few years, and I will inform you of them when the right next Xmas & New Year comes. the inside maintenance issues and innovations of my property have already been resolved and addressed a few years ago, and afterwards I started to resolve and address the maintenance issues and innovations of the outside of my property, and so far some of them have already been resolved and addressed, and the remained ones are left for the next a few years))

(update - at the early 2020, I finished the paving task for the bike track & footpath along one side of the concrete driveway, then I carried on transferring another section of grass garden to paving area and this task will be carried on for some more days. during this process, whenever discovering new issues in my garden area, I will address it and fix it, e.g. I just repaired the very aged retaining wall of this section of grass garden with brand new retaining wall timber, and fixed the issue of the storm water drainage system for this retaining wall. I did all these tasks by myself alone independently (except of asking some gardeners in Newspaper some questions over the phone). when using the power tools at some stage in the process, there is loud noise, and I have already addressed this issue in below paragraph. as said around Xmas & New Year period is the best time to do this kind of home DIY tasks. sorry if the noise makes you uncomfortable)

This Xmas & New Year period, I have been independently working on the paving task to convert part of the grass garden area to paving area (I actually started the task in my garden from 28 Dec 2019, while spending a few days before this date to purchase, prepare the foundation materials). The foundation is strong, so it needs to take a lot of time to prepare the foundation to dig out the dirt/clay with the mattock, hoe, shovel, to clean the foundation, to screen out the stone, gravel from the dig out dirt/clay for reusing.

2016 Xmas & 2017 New Year, I alone transferred a few m2 grass garden area (along the 1+ meter high retaining wall of the downstairs small and large bedrooms) to paving area (only needed to dig out the underground dirty for about 15cm deep from the ground surface), and repaired a small section of the existing paving area. The condition of these paving areas is still very good (however this embarrassed my previous South Africa flatting family Chris & Erica who stayed in the downstairs flat of my property from March 2015 to June 2017, and when it rained heavily at the end of March 2017 they took the chance to willfully pour a lot water onto the carpet around the wardrobe behind the 1+ meter high retaining wall in the downstairs large bedroom, in order to defame me that the paving task I independently implemented by myself alone during 2016 Xmas & 2017 New Year causing the retained wall of the downstairs large bedroom leaking. Their this act is to revenge me also, as I disclosed Chris changed his history and Erica looked like a student, and disclosed their poor behaviors when they flatted in my place. The upstairs Iran flat mates Hadi and Reza, Czech Republic flat mates Tomas & Veronica who were staying in the upstairs of my property then conspired with this downstairs South Africa flatting family Chris & Erica for this evil act, as they were unhappy with that I independently did all the IT/Telco tasks of my business, and my home DIY tasks by myself alone without their assistance. At 2018 winter the Canadian flat mate Ryley LaFrance intentionally poured a lot water in this downstairs large bedroom again by unlocking the locked door of this downstairs large bedroom, after there was a confrontation between us then. He conspired with the other flat mates and some of my neighbors to do this evil act for their own advantages. I gave him notice to move out immediately and reported to the Police. All in all, except of these flat mates intentionally poured water onto the carpet in this downstairs large bedroom, my property has no water leaking issue due to poor weather condition in rainstorm winter season. The plumbing system of my property has been functioning very well also).

Xmas & New Year is the best time to do this kind of home DIY tasks, as a lot of people either go away for holiday, or some of them staying at home might do the similar home DIY tasks.

As I have already had some experience (and the required tools also) on paving task, so this new independent paving task from scratch should be less difficult for me. But it will take a lot more time, as the area is a lot larger than previous one.

When cutting the pavers to fit the paving areas, it will be very noisy, as loud as mowing the lawn, operating the drill or the chainsaw. Sorry if you're uncomfortable for the noise.

BTW have a great Xmas & New Year.

Best regards,
Qiubo (David) Su

The Acacia Cove Residents had a wonderful Hawaiian Evening the end of January and after having a scrumptious meal, they danced the night away!

As some of you will know, we started construction on two new villas towards the end of last year. They are finished now, and the new residents have moved in and are enjoying all Acacia Cove has to offer.

(his dad was a pure blue staffy and mum was a red/white staffy).

Unfortunately due to a change in our living situation, this beautiful boy needs a forever home, where they will be patient and kind.
He is a very sweet dog, with the most lovely nature, very friendly, happy boy and loves nothing more than pleasing his owner.

He has the most beautiful nature, loves hugs and cuddling up on the couch with you.
Can get excitable around other dogs as he just wants to play, once he's taught his boundaries, he is very good.

He has been an inside dog since a puppy, never slept outside at night, must never be chained up. Must sleep inside.
Enjoys the outdoors, the beach and loves the water.
He does not bark unless there is a reason to.
Best suited for a home without a cat.
