FREE 5th Community Safety Breakfast

If you volunteer for, or work with a Manukau East community-based-organisation, you’re invited to join MECOSS at 7:45am on Wednesday, 2 November at the Howick Club to listen to presenter Major Campbell Roberts OF, while enjoying a delicious hot-cooked breakfast and networking with a variety of like-minded people.
Campbell is the founder director of The Salvation Army Social Policy and Parliamentary Unit. The SPPU has a mandate from The Salvation Army to work towards the elimination of poverty in New Zealand by influencing, and engaging nationally, political, corporate, government, education and media leaders.
A former President of the New Zealand Council of Social Services, Chairman of the New Zealand Housing Network, he is currently on the Board of the New Zealand Housing Foundation and of a the Justice Reform forum Rethinking Crime and Punishment.
In 2013 Campbell was inducted by General André Cox into the Order of the Founder for his work in areas of social justice.
